Sadly, this place has been ruined forever for me. I used to love their Philly cheesesteaks until today. I got a disgusting little surprise in my sandwich. I ordered the pepperoni Philly cheese steak and I did not ask for green peppers yet those were added for no reason other than carelessness. Upon further inspection as I tried to scrape off the green peppers as best I could, I discovered a staple in my sandwich. Normally, I would try to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and a second chance if they had actually shown that they genuinely cared about this horrifying and potentially dangerous mistake of letting a staple fall into my food. But they didn't care. They didn't offer anything other than a measly refund of the price I paid for the sandwich. So all I can say now is...Beware of what you order and inspect your food before you eat it. You never know what you might get. Sincerely, A former customer.

I’ve been ordering from Milnos for awhile, and I love the calzones and the pizza, however yesterday I had the Hawaiian Canadian bacon and pineapple calzone, and I must say, it was AMAZING Usually with food, there’s always something that could’ve been a little better, maybe it was too salty maybe not enough salt etc….but I have to say this calzone was the perfect calzone and I have had lots of them. I can honestly say its best calzone I’ve ever had, and a masterpiece, and I don’t say that lightly. Even my mother agreed, she said it was perfect absolutely perfect. Neither of us were even thirsty after eating it, but yet it was perfect in every single way, so I had to make sure that I wrote this review to let others know I feel too many times people eat negative reviews when they’re unhappy, but not enough people leave positive reviews when the company or a business does a great job

We have tried the Philly, calzone, meatball sub, and pizza now. All are amazing! Generous toppings, and yes, I know pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza for some people. I highly recommend this place. Amazing, family owned and they are so good with special requests!! The calzone is still probably my favorite ( I get the Milano calzone has mushroom, onion, ricotta, feta etc. except I get pepperoni instead of gyro meat simply because I’ve never had gyro meat ) but I love everything I have had here. The sauce cup that comes with the calzone and the dough is heavenly. I need them to please sell their marinara by the jar. Love giving my $ to local small business owned by good people who care.

We ordered take out and in total spent 60 dollars. The most expensive item were the 20 piece mild buffalo wings we ordered. We have ordered from them for years and never had a problem. We order the same thing every time. Today we got the wings and when I opened the box they were not sauced...literally, just fried wings. I called to let them know and they said that is just how the mild wings come. I asked with no sauce and she said they have sauce it's just really mild. I told her there was absolutely NO SAUCE and she continued to tell me that is just how they come. She said just order extra sauce next time. She did not try and rectify the situation but instead put the responsibility on me. What happened to taking pride in the food you put out and serve? We have noticed that the food has gone down in quality right before covid happened. Thank you for the years of good food and service that we did have. We will no longer be patrons. Edit* After posting this review I opened my salad box expecting the Mediterranean salad that I ordered only to find a shrimp Ceasars salad. I AM ALLERGIC TO SHRIMP! I called back and again she put the responsibility onto me. She said to me, "ma'am you called an hour and a half after you ordered." I told her that was because it took that long to get my order. She told me that is what I ordered and I told her I NEVER would being I'm allergic. I asked to speak to a manager and she hung up on me. What kind of service is this? Really...60 dollars for food that I cannot eat. I have worked for the service industry for several years...my husband was a chef...this is absolutely 💯 percent not how you...

Milano’s Pizzeria in Anchorage is hands-down one of the best pizza spots in town. From the moment you walk in, the smell of fresh dough and bubbling cheese hits you and sets the stage for what’s about to be an unforgettable meal. The crust is always perfectly baked—crispy on the outside with just the right amount of chew inside—and they don’t skimp on toppings. Every bite is loaded with flavor, from the rich tomato sauce to the gooey, stretchy cheese that pulls apart beautifully. Their menu has something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for a classic pepperoni, a hearty meat-lover’s, or a veggie-packed pie.

Beyond the food itself, the atmosphere at Milano’s feels both welcoming and authentic, like a neighborhood gathering spot where friends and families come together. The staff are friendly, quick with a smile, and genuinely care that you’re enjoying your meal. It’s the kind of place you can drop into after a long day or make a night of it with a group, and you’ll leave happy and full every time. If you’re ever in Anchorage and craving pizza that tastes homemade yet elevated, Milano’s Pizzeria should absolutely be at the top of your list—it’s the kind of local gem you’ll end up returning to again and...

Ordered a Greek salad minus the pepperoni and salami add steak, with the nitrate meat to be placed on the side, not a pork eater nitrate meat eater! Pick up the salad and both meat are on the salad. Once home I start to hand mix the salad noticing that both meat on the salad. For religious dietary reasons I decided to take the salad back. As the kitchen staff was questioned in regard to the salad the owner got involved accused me of eating the meat (steak)off the salad, which was at the bottom due to me mixing the salad to add my own seasoning, which put the steak at the bottom not visible at first glance and the nitrate meats at the top. Instead of just remaking the salad. The owner accused me of giving him at hard time a basically accusing me of stealing the meat of and returning the salad. The reason I can conclude of the behavior is that the owner has a problem with people of color particularly African American's. He did return my money must be nice to make a dollar in the country my ancestors built with...
