I don't order food. The coffee is great! BUT..... YOU MAY FIND YOURSELF WAITING TILL THE END OF TIME FOR A COFFEE ☕️ I HAVE WATCHED THOUSANDS OF DOLLORS WORTH OF CUSTOMERS LEAVE BECAUSE THE WAIT CAN BE UP TO 30 MINUTES. THEIR BUISNESS MODEL DOES NOT WORK BECAUSE A CUSTOMER IN FRONT OF YOU MAY ORDER A FULL BREAKFAST AND YOU'LL WAIT FOREVER. IF ALL YOU WANT IS COFFEE JUST GO TO THE CUP BY SAFEWAY. THEY NEED TO HAVE ONE SIDE DO FOOD AND THE OTHER SIDE DEAL WITH COFFEE OR JUST TELL THE FOOD CUSTOMER TO PULL OVER TO THE SIDE. ITS KINDA THE TALK OF THE TOWN DUE TO A POOR BUISNESS PLAN. YOU ARE EITHER A COFFEE HUT OR A FOOD SHACK. I HATE TO SEE THEM LOSE SO MUCH MONEY BECAUSE THEY CANT ADJUST TO ONE OR THE OTHER.....SO IF YOU WANT COFFEE I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT. THE MUD HUT IS GREAT AND THE EMPLOYEES ARE WONDERFUL BUT IN THE END ITS A DIFFERENCE OF WAITING 30 MINUTES FOR COFFEE WHILE THEY COOK IN THE LITTLE HUT OR GOING TO THE CUP AND GETTING IT IN 5 OR LESS. If there was a category for wait time they would get about a negative 50 star review but outside of that the place is great. As someone that grew up around businesses they need to be willing to learn and adjust so they can retain and keep customers, otherwise it will not end well. Again I do love the place but DAMN when all you want is a coffee and the guy in front of you orders 4 breakfasts and watch 5 cars pull out of the line that should be a sign to make a...
Read moreI absolutely LOVE Mudd Hutt's cappuccino and their Dirty Chai! I'm also thrilled that they're now carrying some of my dishwasher safe, weatherproof vinyl stickers! Including my brand new, weatherproof holographic stickers!
First and foremost, though, is the Mudd Hutt's coffee. They know how to do coffee right! I'm extremely picky when it comes to coffee. I've noticed the quality of coffee can really vary from place to place. I'm always sure to remember, and revisit, places that serve good coffee - like the Mudd Hutt.
If you're heading into Seward, from the direction of Anchorage, the Mudd Hutt is on the left hand side of the Seward highway; directly across from Spenard Builders Supply.
Be sure to stop by and grab yourself a...
Read moreThis was the worst cup of coffee I’ve had while in Seward. I ordered a white chocolate mocha as a safety-it’s difficult to mess them up; the coffee is burnt, there is no hint of sweetness or white chocolate and it just tastes like burnt coffee and water. Ended up tossing it out after five drinks or so. I would have taken it back but was on my way out of town. The sign also said tax was included in the price on the board but my total cost was over the price on the board. Skip this place and play it safe at Starbucks or hit up the actual coffee shops in...
