I knew Japanese restaurants in Alaska are way overpriced but this is going too far. First of all, i have ordered "Party Sushi Plate" (40 pieces of sushi with 2 rolls, $120). And a server came back and asked me if i wanted only 40 sushi, or assorted with sashimi. I thought that is weird because what i ordered was a "Party Sushi Plate". I told her "only sushi please". And here's what i've got on the first photo. 20 Sushi and 20 sashimi. And as soon as the plate was served, i realized it won't be enough for 3 people at all (we were 4 but one of us didn't even touch it because he didn't like raw fish). So i immediately ordered an Orange Chicken ($16) and an appetizer. That Orange Chicken was too small, it was like a dollar per small piece. And 2 kinds of sashimi (10 out of 20 pieces of sashimi) were too fishy to eat and we could not finish and just decided to leave about 7~8 pieces of them. Even though i've paid about $160 except a tip, we (3 people) weren't full at all but actually very unpleasant. There are so many places that provide a satisfying meal with $160 for 3 people in Anchorage, but this is...

Came here after seeing my sister post about it, and my daughter really wanted to give it a try. At first, things started a little rough one of the waitresses accidentally dropped a glass of water right after we sat down, and from there, it kind of turned into chaos 😅.

We didn’t get any utensils or chopsticks after ordering, which made it tough since it’s a revolving sushi setup you can’t really enjoy anything without them. Our order also came without the salad and soup that were supposed to be included according to the menu.

The food itself was just okay for the price. Our bill came out to around $70, and I still added a $10 tip because I know everyone has off days. Maybe the waitress was nervous or felt bad after the spill it happens.

Overall, not the best first impression, but I’m willing to give them another shot down the road. This is just my personal experience not saying don’t check it out for yourself. We always try to support local businesses, and I’m hoping next time the experience...

First time visit. First impressions are very good and service was excellent while being personable and friendly.

Ordered the nigiri, tuna, salmon, hamachi, ikura, white tuna and saba. All were above average quality. The salmon is very good especially. Unfortunately though Uni is not available on the menu. I wouldn't mind making this a regular sushi restaurant of mine as it has a very inviting friendly atmosphere, good quality food and excellent/personable servers.

Do note during these times of covid, they do not have the revolving sushi belt active, which I was told a lot of people are upset about. Please do not let this prevent you from visiting. Yes the belt is really cool, though you can still order anything you need.

Overall, my experience here was as it should be, a very positive one. I even made Instagram friends with the server.

I would highly recommend coming here, it may just put a smile on...

“Umami” at its core! This place has some of the best Salmon Sashimi ever. I have eaten at some amazing sushi places world wide and this is a memorable place to eat. We had the Salmon and Yellowtail Sashimi which was well cut. American Eagle (California roll with beef bulgogi on top), Rainbow Roll #2 (spicy tuna inside), and a fire cracker roll (Spicy). All were well prepared and fresh. They even accommodated my desire for extra ginger by bringing a jar for our table. The revolving belt was closed for COVID, but it is back for dinner… I can’t wait to come back.

We are a family that absolutely loves sushi, often traveling to Japan just to enjoy it. While on a winter trip to Alaska, we found an incredible sushi restaurant and couldn’t be happier! The open kitchen allowed us to watch the chef carefully craft each piece, and the restaurant was spotless. The moment we saw the plating, we could tell how passionate the chef was about sushi. The prices were fantastic, the portions were generous, and everything tasted amazing. We’ll definitely be back next time we visit Alaska!
