Sis's Cafe and Catering — Restaurant in Alaska

Wonderful friendly environment!! We’ve been to Sis’s Café and Catering a few times now, and every sandwich we’ve tried has been absolutely amazing! The flavors are fresh and perfectly crafted, and the quality is consistent every single time. They also have a huge menu with tons of options—hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, salads, and more. It’s impossible not to find something you’ll love! Sorry no pics! The food is nicely put together very simple nothing fancy they obviously put a lot of time and effort into the flavors of their food and not for the display of it. Which is perfect!

The fact that they have an espresso machine is a huge bonus! I only wish they’d add breakfast items to the menu I like eating breakfast at lunch or our dinner time. Maybe they could do some kind of breakfast sandwich?

They’re only open Monday through Friday from 11:00 to 4:00, so you have to make sure to catch them during those hours. But it’s 100% worth planning around—it’s clear this place is a hidden gem in Anchorage....

Edit* This use to be my favorite for salad. But it was too good to last, my avocado halves have turned to avocado quarters and the impressive amount of vegetables, has turned in to the minimal salad topping amount. I'm so sad, I never had a problem paying $15.00 for a salad when i knew it was soo impressive. I will not order another, overly expensive salad again. To specify, everything was still fresh and tasted good. Also my coworker had one and she had the same disappointment, so this was not a fluke.

Love the food. I wish they had a gluten free bread option, currently you can have your cold sandwich wrapped in lettuce but there is no option for a hot sandwich. I also LOVE the Avocado Duet Salad (all chicken). I know that part of what makes it soo good is the home made dressing, I just wish that the taste was a little more consistent. Staff is very friendly whether delivery or if you go inside. I have never tasted anything I didn't like...

AMAZING !!!! Placed an order with them because the "normal salad place " we order from is closed until 1/4/21, When we got out food , it was fresh, colorful, and soooooooooooooooooooooooo good. The goat cheese balls on the Goatcheese salad were soooooooooo great !!! Any chance we could get them as a side , and be able to order separately? The strawberry salad , OMG aside from the mushrooms ( My personal dislike) the salad was so wonderful. They also give you a cheddar biscuit with your food which is also amazing . SO glad they catered the holiday mean for us. WE will order so much more :) Let me add that when ordered they called and said they are so busy and that they would be later than the scheduled arrival time of 12:15pm. Guess when they got here?
