Spenard Grinds — Restaurant in Alaska

My family and I were headed to a tournament and needed to grab a quick breakfast... I searched breakfast sandwiches near me and found Spenard Grinds. I instantly appreciated the option to order online - I scanned the menu, and my family decided on a breakfast burrito and some croissant ham & cheese sandwiches. Order was placed....smooth and easy to use ordering system.

Feedback on the food - breakfast burrito was OK. Size wise - excellent. However, the tots were a bit dried and crumbly, eggs were eh, and I didn't see much bacon, but the awesome sauce was....AWESOME. The wrapper stuck to the tortilla and made it difficult to peel off....the burrito didn't get finished. The croissant sandwiches were warmed up... a bit too long. They were HOT. After cooling they were on point. I'm thinking they are the Costco croissants, which are YUM! Coffee beverage was perfect. Driving up to the location- no line. Every morning I go through their drive through is very accessible and never long lines to wait in . The girls make great coffees never too hot or too sweet and they make them so quick it's like they knew you were coming and had it prepared waiting for you. Lol I mean seriously that is how quickly I get my coffee. They have points program to earn free drinks and these ladies are always friendly with big smiles on their faces and never forget to get my number so I get my points. There's a great selection of not just drinks but snacks and wholesome ones at that. My favorite part is that they carry coffee beans and I am able to purchase a bag of them. Not all stands offer that option so it's definitely a plus. Great location where you are able to get in and out quickly. Thank You for your awesome service Ladies. I would definitely recommend stopping by and grabbing one of their delicious drinks...

On multiple occasions I’ve been the only car there and the barista completely ignores me. No acknowledgment that I’m there, nothing, for a couple minutes. Today I drove up, was ignored for a good minute, and then when another vehicle pulled up to the other window, she ignored both of us for a bit, and then gets them first, even though I was obviously the car there. All of the other people that work there are amazing, which is the only reason I kept coming back but this one’s poor customer service is it. I’m not going back.
