Arby's — Restaurant in Albert Lea

Ok, the previous negative reviews got me curious so here I am. I will agree the music is on a bit louder than desired. When I read the lyrics were inappropriate, I thought, they must be blasting that wild rap music. Nope, hard core country and pop? So the first country song was about crack heads and killing crickets in the lyrics. The next song graphically depicting someone not having their love and sacrifice reciprocated (jump in front of a train, bullet to the brain, get beaten black and blue for love but you wouldn't do the same) the next about a guy getting drunk after a break up. Maybe a more family friendly radio station selection? Usually music in a restaurant is just background noise but because it's so loud you're forced to hear it. I found it amusing but I can see how your more conservative clientele wouldn't find it appropriate. Ironically, while writing this review the music was just cut off. Am I thinking too loudly? Good was as great as Arby's gets. I had a BBQ and Gyro. I think the station is having some technical difficulties but I did enjoy the silence while it lasted ;) Song about half way to heaven and half way to hell on now. The good was relatively quick, made fresh at about a 3 minute or less wait from order to presentation. Restaurant is in a clean state. If you have sensitive ears or just rather not hear the unique music, don't dine in but the food is...

My 8 yr old daughter and I went through the drive thru and got a beef and cheddar meal, a small curly fry and a 4 piece mozzarella stick. She took a bite of the beef and cheddar and said it tasted sour and smelled gross. I pulled over and looked at it. It was horrid smelling, discolored and slimy!! We threw the entire order away. And ordered Jakes pizza instead. I would have called and talked to a manager but the manager that handed us our order as well as the other young lady there were clearly not happy with their jobs or something, because they were not polite or nice in any way at all. They were very short and rude during the minimal time spent interacting with them. So I knew if I called about this issue I wouldn’t get any kind of professionalism from them. I know everyone is short handed right now but that doesn’t mean settling for people that give terrible customer service and especially for employees that don’t care enough and will just serve anything! I’m very disappointed in the night staff at this store. We kindly told them we only ordered 3 drinks gave us 5 we told no we only ordered 3. Took the drinks and slammed them down and then gave us back 4. The person in drive though was very rude about it. Didn’t give straws for drinks and all kids meals we’re messed up! We ordered 7 chicken nugget meals and curly frys apple juice! The fry’s were cold! The double roast beef no Arby’s sauce had over over load of cheese. Forgot 3 kid apple juices. Tried talking to the shift manager that was their and we got well I will talk normal manager tomorrow you don’t need the call the store!! We even yelled thank you and got a thumbs up!
