Stingy. My boyfriend and I paid for 2 drink, he usually likes the pumpkin flavor so that’s what he got, but when he tried it he said it was not good at all. We went around and told the barista and she told us they cannot swap out our drink without us having to pay for an extra drink, she said if it wasn’t made incorrectly then they can’t. I was so confused because this has never happened and we are regulars. Might as well go else where if they can’t even do a nice customer service gesture and swap out a drink that tasted horrible, especially when it was a one time thing because the drink really tasted bad… Ridiculous; but I guess this is a new caribou thing at many of their locations. Apparently they can’t remake a nasty drink you don’t like but instead make you pay again. I have never heard of such a thing from any coffee shop or experienced such stingy service. The baristas were nice and I don’t blame them personally for doing their jobs, but caribou in general with their new “policies” sucks. I have never had this issue at any other coffee shop. I’m a rewards member and typically buy 3 drinks on the daily and reload hundreds onto my app and they give me an issue over getting one measly poorly made drink remade or swapped- thats not very good customer service especially for a regular. Taking our business elsewhere where they can provide a normal customer service courtesy- my entire family was so disappointed as well, but I guess we will just go elsewhere from now on. Any other coffee shop I have been to has never and...
Read moreDean, was very rude. I tried to explain to her my issue. My issue is that I came to redeem my points and was told by a manager and dean was also standing in on the conversation when I was told that I did not have enough points to redeem a bakery item. She informed me that the bakery items were 150 point a piece. So I called corporate and they confirmed that was indeed not true. The manager there said that the point system was outdated. So today when I tried to explain this to Dean she of course took up for the mgr I was speaking for and disregarded me the customers issue. The issue I have is that you made me feel like I had no clue of what I was speaking about and gave me false information even after I showed the receipt to show how much the bakery item was. I didn't get to get my bakery item because of it. And today Dean accused me of arguing because she didn't want to hear that an employee the mgr had not indeed done her job. So I told her I would be making a review and speaking to the person in charge Steve. I simply asked her to make sure everyone was aware of the point system. I told her I spend money almost everyday and want to make sure I can...
Read moreUsually I love this location. Today I tried to order ahead on the app since it's always so busy- especially on a Friday morning. When I got there, the drinks were ready but the cinnamon rolls I ordered weren't sitting with my order. I asked about them and the lady wanted to stand there and argue that they weren't purchased while a line was waiting. I was trying to show her on the app that they were ordered and purchased but she angrily threw one cinnamon roll in a bag and said "I'm not arguing with you. There, you got what you paid for" and handed me the bag. I said thank you and went on my way. When we got home, there was only one cinnamon roll. So actually, no, I didn't get what I paid for. I think the order ahead feature would be great if it you could get the order accurate. PS, each of my 3 drinks I received said 1 of 5, 2 of 5, etc. So that should show there are 2 more items to be added to the order right? Numbers, man....
