Service was solid, atmosphere is busy but normal pizza restaurant that families go to. Food quality in terms of taste...it used to be great, and unfortunately I cannot send a company wide review so I chose the last store I purchased from, but it has gone downhill. My main issue is corporate wide policy changes. Dion's used to be fairly clean in their ingredients. However over the last two years, and I only go maybe twice a year these days, it used to be a lot more, I noticed changes in the ranch, dough, seasoning, etc. The ranch used to be clean, very clean, like you made this in your kitchen, authentic ranch clean. Last year there was virtual no spice, no visible parsley, and I think they removed the dill. This one? Wow, no visible spice at all, MSG, mono and diglycerides, wthf is spice "extractive", not extract, but extractive suggests chemical concoction in a lab in a form that reeks of GRAS additives which are nearly all harmful in every independent study I look at, banned outside the US, but the FDA does not test for...nevermind the rest of the ingredients in the ranch. This begs the question of what is newly added to the rest of Dion's food? I will never return to Dion's again without some massive public campaign to change back to the actual family friendly restaurant they used to be before selling out their ethics to..I don't know an extra buck a pizza. I'd rather ACTUAL authentic food, not chemical toxic concoctions. Have some morality and human decency. Note this is NOT a specific reflection on this store, the staff is great, and have no say in the quality control over corporate choices.

Worst Dions Location. Slow service, poor restaurant layout, too many inexperienced staff, dirty tables everywhere, and poor quality control. Dions, as a whole, is a pretty good place. THE place for some decently okay pizza to use as a vessel for their best in class ranch dressing. The prices have gotten a bit outrageous for the food quality, but I still frequent it for a good meatball sub. However this location on Montgomery is just awful. Consistently. Usually I know what I’m walking into with service but this time was especially problematic. Waited 5 min in line behind one other person, ordered a 10in sub, received a 6 inch, waited 5 min at the front counter for someone to notice me, made eye contact with at least a dozen employees, finally called a lost looking kid behind the counter over and kindly asked if he could get some help over to me to fix my order. No biggie. Again, I know I’m getting teenagers working their first job when I walk in the doors. Well, I don’t know who he asked, but he brought back an abysmal looking sandwich. Figured it was just bad looking, but it was luke warm at best and noticeably soggy on the bottom and sides. Perhaps they pulled it out of a reject bucket next to the dishwashing area for emergencies like mine. I’d have gone back up and complained but by the time I waited 5 more minutes in line, another 5 to make contact with someone capable, and another 10 for the sandwich to be made properly, my actual good half would have been cold itself. One extra star for bringing half my order out in a good looking and tasting state. 2 stars

Dions food is quite good when they get your order correct ! The problem is that they always make mistakes when it comes to getting the order right! For example, we have to order no cheese pizza for my son who has a dairy intolerance and they constantly make it with cheese just about every other order! either that or if you order more than 3 ingredients the pizza ends up being super soggy because, they don’t cook their dough long enough…feeling like they’ve been in business long enough to work out the kinks. Disappointed often.I think this location is too busy and fails consistently! I have two stars because when they get it right it is amazing…but they are more often getting it wrong these days. Last time we complained about soggy pizza…the manager said there was nothing she could do for us since we tampered with the pizza by placing it in our oven in an attempt to cook the soggy dough just to make it edible for us!

Had a bad experience but one of the managers helped fix the issue.

My kids had a long afternoon running errands and we decided to order food to pickup on our way home for an easy dinner. I ordered a large pizza online where have had toppings and the other half was just cheese. The drive thru line was really long so I decided to run in as my order was already paid for. The place was super busy and it took 10 minutes just to get to the online pickup counter. I got my pizza and went out to the car. When I got to the car I thought the pizza felt heavier than normal and I had my wife check it and of course, the entire pizza had toppings. This is an issue because there was toppings my kids wouldn't eat. I went back inside and the manager offered a refund and I told her that wouldn't work. She said she would remake the pizza and refund the purchase anyway and that they needed 15 minutes to remake the pizza. I sat down on the bench and sent a text to my wife in the car telling her it was 15 minutes. I started reading an article on my phone while still making sure to listen for my name to be called. 20 minutes went by and my name wasn't called and I knew they were busy so I was trying to be patient and give them time. After 30 minutes I went backup to the counter and asked if they had an ETA. The person at the counter was aware of the issue and realizing I had been there for an extended amount of time immediately got a manager but this time it was a male manager as the female manager from earlier was no where to be found. After searching for my remade pizza they found that it was placed directly in the hotbox without calling my name. I was quite irritated at this point and the male manager apologized and was very empathetic. He let me know that what happened was unacceptable and he took full blame of the incident. I was not expecting anything extra for an inconvenience, I just wanted my correct order. He went one step further and not only took my online order information again to make sure that the order was refunded but he also gave my online account a free pizza for the next time we ordered even though I stated it wasn't necessary. I appreciate his exceptional customer service and mostly just appreciate him acknowledging the error of his staff and taking full...
