I drove up in a large car, and could not see the menu. I was not only sitting in the passenger seat , but I had also forgotten my glasses at home. I asked the lady with the ridiculously giant eyelashes and small brain, if she could please tell me what the breakfast burrito specials were. Her response was “they are on the menu can’t you read“. I let it go. After She tossed my order at my husband and half the burritos fell into the car with no salsa btw. She didn’t say “thank you for your business or please come again“ She simply slammed the little window in our face and left and didn’t even ask us if there was anything else she could help us with. I was unable to let her know that she should be more tolerant of other people, especially because their sign is not designed for larger vehicles. This little woman should also invest in learning her own menu. She proceeded to tell me that she had “done nothing wrong“ and she refused to give me the name of the owner of this establishment. This person should not be dealing with customers because she has zero customer service skills and I personally will not return return to this establishment. Additionally, I own a business in several locations in Albuquerque and this is typically the place I send for lunch, not anymore! All this? For what? Because this lady was too proud to admit that she made a mistake? Because this establishment does not cater to people with handicaps that aren’t obvious. Calling this woman a complete B** may have been uncalled for but what kind of lazy self centered straight-outta-the-hood junk do you hire? I regret absolutely nothing that I said, and I hope that this lady never ever gets a job in customer service again, it’s the least you can do for the rest of the world. Keep people from her from being a total complete beast with people who don’t deserve it. People have been shot for far less and...
Read moreLet me start this review by saying I do like this place. It is the best Filiberto's in Albuquerque. That being said...
The batting average for this place when it comes to my allergy, and actually LISTENING to me leaves a lot to be desired. I always ask for one thing to be held off of my food, because I'm allergic and it can send me to the ER. If I were to go there 10 times in a row and ask for that to not be on my food, they would get it right maybe four times.
I've wound up in the hospital because they still added that food to my plate. I've called to let them know that they can't be doing that, and I always get promised that they will be more careful next time, but the next time comes around and they still screw up.
What sucks about this is, I love their staff. They all have great attitudes, and the food when I can eat it without allergies is phenomenal. But their listening comprehension when it comes to allergies and withholding certain ingredients is abysmal at best.
It's like being in a relationship where almost everything is great, but there is one glaring red flag that is killing the relationship.
I hate to say it, but I'm starting to really not want to come here anymore because what's the point of coming to a place you love ordering food from when you can't...
Read moreIf you want soggy tacos, I recommend getting the ground beef tacos. I went through the drive-thru yesterday to get dinner. On multiple occasions when I place my order, I have asked that they drain the ground beef before putting it on the taco shells. When I got home, I found the shells were broken and soggy. I used at least five napkins to soak up the grease and water in the bottom of the container, and there was still more after they were thoroughly soaked. The tacos were extremely hard to eat because they were soggy and crumbling. The taco shells were stale as well. The meat was seasoned fairly well, but there were only a few shreds of cheese on each taco. The lettuce was limp and greasy. This was by far the worst tacos I have ever bought at this place. They used to be extremely busy, but the quality of the food has really gone downhill. How hard is it to use a slotted spoon to drain the grease and water from the meat before preparing the tacos?! Typically, the wait time is about five minutes per car. That should be plenty of time to make the food correctly. This is not the first time the tacos have been mushy. I have given this establishment many tries to see if the food improves. I will probably not go back for...
