Ordered one time and will never order again. We used the online ordering service EatStreet to order three slices, garlic knots, and a salad. The estimated pick up time from EatStreet was 6:16 PM. I arrived a couple minutes after the estimated pick up time. When I arrived at the pick up window I was told it was almost ready and to just park at the Boost Mobile, which was fine since they were fairly busy. I figured it would be 5 minutes at most. I guess I was wrong. I had the pleasure of waiting another 40 minutes watching other vehicles drive through and subsequently receive their food. Because we are in a pandemic my wife ended up calling and talking to the manager. She was told our order was not supposed to be ready until 6:40 PM. After 6:40 rolled on by, my wife called again was told that my order had already been delivered to me, which was incorrect since I was still waiting in the parking lot. I eventually was beyond annoyed and went back through the pickup lane. I spoke with the manager whose mask was not covering her entire face. As an FYI to the employees of Pizza Castle, the mask is supposed to cover both your mouth and nose even when you are talking. The manager was beyond confrontational and I was told that my food was not supposed to be ready until 6:40 PM. I informed the manager that it was now almost 7:00 PM (20 minutes past their estimate, 45 minutes past the EatStreet estimate from my email confirmation) and I still had not received my food. I informed the individual at the pickup window that I will just go to Dion’s next time since they are closer and I get my food on time. When I arrived at home I noticed that I was short one slice and an order of garlic knots. My wife called to inform the manager that we were short items on our order. The manager said she will go look up the ticket and then hand the call over to another employee. Overall, Pizza Castle stole $10 and 1 hour of life that I cannot get back. I am unsure why it takes an hour to heat up three pre-made pizza slices, since Dion’s is substantially busier and gets them out in 15 minutes. Here are some other fine establishments I will take my money to next time I feel like pizza since my food generally comes out on time and with the correct number of items: Dion’s, Mario’s, Papa John’s, Domino’s, Slice Parlor, basically anyplace that is not...

As a long-time Albuquerque resident, I'm amazed I hadn't discovered Pizza Castle sooner. After trying it for the first time recently, we've already been back three more times - it's that good! Pizza Castle is conveniently located on Eubank Blvd, making it easily accessible from most parts of the city. But be aware that the building is easy to miss if you aren't looking for it.
The crust was cooked to perfection - crispy yet chewy, with just the right amount of char. They have unique and high-quality options that set them apart from other pizzerias. We tried sliced meatballs and salami, something that I wouldn't have considered to put on a pizza, it's a delicious surprise that's now my go-to order.
While pizza is their specialty, don't miss out on their garlic knots - they're amazing! The Caesar salad is also a great starter if you're looking for something lighter. It's surprisingly affordable for the quality. Personal pizzas start at $8, while a large specialty pizza will run you about $20-$25. It's great value considering the generous toppings and top-notch ingredients.
The restaurant has a cozy, family-friendly vibe with a mix of booth and table seating. I've tried most pizza places in Albuquerque, and while we have some good options, Pizza Castle stands out. The crust is better than Dion's, and the topping combinations are more unique than Slice Parlor or Farina.
If you're a pizza lover in Albuquerque, don't make the same mistake I did by not knowing about Pizza Castle. It's a must-try that might just become your new favorite! Whether you're looking for a casual family dinner or a quick slice for lunch, Pizza Castle delivers...
Read moreOh baby! If you love a traditional Brooklyn slice or if you've never even HAD a traditional Brooklyn slice (and if you've lived here all your life the chances are very good you haven't), you need to hustle over to Pizza Castle immediately! So many companies bury their thin slice in toppings to hide a weak foundation. Not so with Pizza Castle. Their basic cheese slice is a perfect blend of sweet and tangy with just the right amount of cheese and a fresh bread crust that you will enjoy eating just as much as the rest of the slice. The Italian sausage was medium sliced and had a perfect blend of sweetness and spice that melded beautifully with the superb foundation upon which it was placed. One can easily tell that a fully loaded Pizza Castle pie is going to be a grand affair where each of the toppings stand out and avoid becoming a cluttered mess on your palette. Size matters. I ordered the lunch special which was two slices and a medium soda for $6.98. This was an absolute steal for the two monster slices I received. I'm not a small guy, and I ended up taking the second slice with me to munch on later. Pizza Castle is a winner. The pie is superb, the customer service is top-notch( you can tell that the owner takes pride in his craft and cares about his customers ), and the pricing is beyond fair for what you're getting. The next time you get that pizza itch, you truly owe it to yourself to stop by Pizza Castle and experience something genuine and authentic in a sea of...
