HAIR IN FOOD. We’ve all found hair in our food but I’ve never found a clump of hair like this! Went in on a Friday and the line took about 20 minutes to get our food. The people in front of me sent their food back, which should have been a sign, but I had already waited this long. When I got home I found this huge and disgusting clump of hair right as I opened the packaging. I called immediately and the manager told me he wrote down my info and to go in the next day and get my refund. Saturday comes around and I go to get my refund and they tell me they can’t refund me and there isn’t any info of me calling the day before. The manager and staff all asked multiple times if I want my order remade. I could not express enough how much I did NOT want my order remade because of how disgusted I was by my order. How does a clump of hair that big go unnoticed!? The manager told me he called his GM and she didn’t answer so I just asked him to have the GM call me directly. I get a call on Monday and the GM assures me that I will get my refund, I even offered more info than was asked to make sure I got my refund. I ordered on April 7, 2024 and talked to the GM on April 10, 2024. It is now April 19, 2024 and have not received any refund. Normally any company would refund immediately based on the circumstances, especially taking to a GM. Read moreHad a really bad experience at this location. I did a pickup order through the Jersey Mikes app. When I got to the drive through, the employee told me my order had already been picked up. I told her nobody but me should have picked up that order. She said door dash picked it up. I said it wasn't a door dash order. She stopped responding and I assumed she went to get someone to help.
About 8 minutes later, she comes back on and acts like I'm a new customer. When I told her it was still me and I still needed my pickup order, she reiterated that it had already been picked up. Said they gave my name and showed her the order. I start to respond, then she impatiently cuts me off and tells me to pull forward. I do and she looks at my order on my phone for a while. Then she says she needs to get her boss to come look at it.
Boss looks at it and tells me that's weird and that her employee assures her that she was shown the door dash order. Boss asks if I had been given my sandwich already. I say no and the employee tells her it hasn't been remade yet. I did an online order because I only get a 30 minute lunch break. Due to all this nonsense, I was late getting back to work.
If they messed up and gave my order to someone else, or if it was stolen, fine. Stuff happens. But the way this older lady acted like I was trying to scam them was really annoying. Jersey mikes customer service sucks. Sticking to Firehouse...

I’m directed to one end of the counter and while I’m giving my order, the manager is slicing meat.( No undivided attention there) then they tell me to go to the other end to pay, but I have to wait until the manager finishes up with the sandwich she’s making, all saying under her breath how she hates online orders. Finally she comes to me and makes me repeat my order. Some other person makes the order and I don’t think he followed guidelines. I got two orders that were the same, but they were not the same size.When I looked at my sandwich I was dismayed to see that the meat was finely chopped up where it didn’t look like meat. I said okay let’s see what it tastes like. I picked it up and chunks started oozing out. The stuff was so soggy that the bun couldn’t hold it together. The taste was indescribably awful.
