Tried the new brunch menu. M'tucci's Bar Roma's Sunday brunch is a culinary delight that tantalizes the taste buds with a perfect blend of flavors and textures. Their lemon ricotta semolina pancakes are a scrumptious revelation, boasting a delicate balance between the zesty lemon and creamy ricotta, while the semolina adds a delightful nutty undertone. Topped with Frangelico whipped cream, these pancakes take indulgence to a whole new level. The shrub syrup brings a refreshing fruity twist, making each bite an explosion of taste. Next up, the pasta alla'arrabiatta, a fiery and delectable dish that showcases the richness of Italian cuisine. The campagnalle noodles are cooked to perfection, providing a delightful chewy bite that complements the robust arrabiatta sauce. The sauce, infused with just the right amount of spiciness, is a delightful balance of tangy tomatoes and aromatic herbs, creating a satisfying harmony of flavors. And to elevate this culinary masterpiece even further, the dish is adorned with a generous serving of fresh burrata, adding a creamy and luxurious touch. Overall, M'tucci's Bar Roma's Sunday brunch offers a mouthwatering experience that's sure to delight any foodie. The lemon ricotta semolina pancakes and pasta alla'arrabiatta are standout dishes that showcase the restaurant's dedication to quality ingredients and impeccable execution. A brunch not to be missed for those seeking a true gastronomic adventure! Previous dinner visit. From the moment I stepped into M'tucci's Bar Roma, I was greeted warmly by the staff, and Lydiana's attentive and friendly demeanor made me feel right at home. She was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations, enhancing the overall dining experience. The Hangar steak was cooked to perfection - juicy and flavorful, leaving me wanting to savor every bite. The Amaro glazed spare ribs appetizer was a delightful surprise, with a perfect balance of sweet and savory notes that tantalized my taste buds. As for the pizza, it was a culinary masterpiece! The combination of sausage, clam, and Pink Patagonia shrimp on a sourdough crust was a unique and delightful flavor explosion. Each ingredient complemented the others perfectly, and the crust was just the right amount of crispy and chewy. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the experience, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that allowed me to fully enjoy the meal. It's evident that M'tucci's Bar Roma takes pride in their culinary creations and the level of service they provide to their guests. I left the restaurant with a full belly, a smile on my face, and a desire to return as soon as possible. Without a doubt, M'tucci's Bar Roma and the exceptional service from Lydiana have earned my highest recommendation. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for an outstanding dining experience, this restaurant is the place to go!

I came in for a solo Tuesday night dinner around 8 PM and was greeted right away with warmth and professionalism. The staff kindly directed me to the bar (open seating), and I loved the vibe: relaxed, good energy, not too crowded, and easy to settle in without feeling crammed. I ordered the artichoke and leek dish along with the Amaro Glazed Ribs from the happy hour menu, and wow, the ribs were the standout. They fell right off the bone and had that signature New Mexican flavor. Not spicy, just deeply flavorful, rich, and comforting. The kind of dish that reminds you why local flavor matters. The ribs alone would bring me back. To drink, I had the Baroma cocktail, which was absolutely delicious. It had this beautiful, spiced complexity without overwhelming heat. Just enough kick to keep things interesting, and I’d recommend it without hesitation. I also had a glass of Gruet sparkling wine, which paired nicely with everything and felt like a little local nod. One great surprise: happy hour runs all night on Tuesdays and isn’t just small bites, as it includes full dishes and craft cocktails, and the portions are generous. The beef tips caught my eye but will have to wait for next time. They looked like a full dinner plate for just eight bucks. This was my second visit to M’tucci’s Bar Roma, and both times the staff has been kind, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. Whether you’re going solo like I did or with friends, it’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable right away. It’s rare to find somewhere that hits the trifecta of great service, great food, and a laid-back atmosphere without any pretension. If I had one tiny suggestion: a touch more lighting at the bar might help bring out the color and presentation of the food, because it deserves to be seen as much as tasted :) Whether you’re a local or just passing through Nob Hill, this is a gem worth making time for. I’ll definitely be back!

What an exceptional experience! This was our first time at M’Tucci’s and it definitely did not disappoint. My husband said it was “divine”, while I agree. After living in Albuquerque for almost five months now, this is the best restaurant we’ve been to. Our server Seth was attentive, friendly, and explained the restaurant since it was our first visit. He said the executive chef at this location is Damien Lucero, who specializes in pork in the restaurant’s scratch kitchen. He said it’s it’s a scratch kitchen, everything is easily customizable. He also recommended the “PDR” for seating for the rest of the summer, the location’s addition, which is the coolest part of the restaurant. A good recommendation for the hot Albuquerque summers! We split the bruschetta pomodoro, which had marinated tomatoes, local basil, shaved aged parmesan, and a sweet balsamic reduction on a grilled baguette. On a hot summer’s day, the cool tomatoes and basil were refreshing, and we both particularly enjoyed the balsamic. I had the Linguini Alla Gricia, which has braised pork belly, fresh herbs, linguine, pecorino cream sauce, a soft egg yolk, “young parmesan”, and fresh cracked pepper. Our server described it as savory, and it was, as well as absolutely delicious. The pork was crispy as well as succulent. My hubby had the Porchetta Alla Romana, another dish with pork. He couldn’t stop raving about it! We both decided this is easily our favorite restaurant in Albuquerque. It had exceptional food, amazing service, and a nice atmosphere. We’re already looking forward to going back. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

My wife and I recently had a birthday dinner for her at this M’tuccis location. Normally we enjoy the location at Coors & Montano, great service and food there.

Our Bar Roma experience was a bit different. A reservation was placed a few days in advance for a party of 11, we were admittedly a few minutes late and when we checked in, the table was not yet ready, however we were seated a few minutes after that. Reservation was for 7:30.

Once seated, our server greeted us 5-10 minutes later and went to get the table waters. Did not mention his name. Another 10 minutes later, water showed up. We finally were able to get a drink order in, and most of our drinks were sitting on the bar top for 10+ minutes ready to be served, the bartender even started making audible comments about it.

30+ minutes in we are able to get our orders in, meanwhile we hadn’t been asked about additional drinks, appetizers, etc. Another 30+ minutes we received our food, understandable, it was a busy night. However many of our entrees were cold, but had warm plates. I don’t believe we were checked on after we put in our food order.

After eating, we had to grab him when we finally did see him to put in more drink orders, he then gave partial water refills to some of the table. I don’t make a habit of complaining at restaurants, but I made a point to talk to Josh, the manager on duty, about the slow and poor service. He said he would look into it.

A few weird interactions later we received our checks, unbeknownst to us our gratuity was removed, but the server had to be asked to clarify how we would rectify the poor service. My wife then also made a point to also talk to the manager about the poor service. On our way out we were offered a $30 gift card even though we stated we didn’t want anything comped. Our table most likely spent well over $300, why would we want to come back with such a poor experience? We were there for 3 hours.

The final straw was a gift that was left on our dinner table and not found. My wife was gifted a bottle of mezcal and it was on the table during dinner and we accidentally left it behind. I believe we were one of the last tables of the night, called immediately the following day and somehow the bottle was not found. This is unacceptable given the circumstances of our overall poor experience and attempt to make us want to come back for M’tuccis.

Overall we have enjoyed our experiences at other M’tuccis locations and it’s unfortunate that this will probably sour our desire to want to ever come back to one of...

Horrible experience with MAX, a male waiter

We were deeply disappointed by my recent experience at M’tucci’s Bar Roma. Came in on a Sunday evening for dinner with my husband, our neighbour, and a dear friend — all of us dressed well and looking forward to a lovely meal after attending the nearby tea dance party. We were respectful, polite, and absolutely not intoxicated, despite what was later insinuated.

Our WAITER, MAX created an uncomfortable and frankly offensive atmosphere from the beginning. We initially ordered a bottle of red wine, which Max abruptly told us was unavailable — He offered us to have a glass of white wine selection instead .... we trusted him. Then we had to adust our food preference. My husband wanted to order some of Beef stake, but because of MAX's suggestion, My husband ordered carpaccio and Salad instead. And i ordered creamy truffle mushrooms pasta....

First, my friend was served, "old fashion" drink while we were waiting for bread and meals. Later We were offered glasses of water and hoping wine would be served.

Later, all foods were served "LUKEWARM". Hoping we would be served glasses of wine and would enjoy the meal with wine. After 5mins, Max serve tumble glasses of wine, and claimed “Here is half of wine and I will serve the rest later” ....... We were surprised. Why was that??

We didn't not appreciate the service MAX did.

When I asked to speak with Max directly about the service, he showed no sign. There was no sense of ownership or empathy — just cold detachment, which only deepened the feeling of being disrespected.

Eventually, we asked to talk to the manager Audrey. He was very nice, and apologized about what happened. Unfortunately we were already upset how we were treated by MAX. And he claimed that "Max thought that we were intoxicated." This judgement was made by MAX. We were upset how we were treated by MAX. We talked to a manager and GM and they assured that we were not. Just wanted have a nice dinner.

MAX was serving cocktails to our next table who also came from the tea dance party as well, whom they were pretty tipsy.

Later, GM Amanda came to apologise — which we appreciated.

I don’t leave reviews lightly, but I hope this encourages the management to reflect seriously on the importance of hospitality, respectful service, and the way certain guests may be unfairly judged. This evening left me feeling upset, disrespected, and incredibly disappointed — something I never expected from a restaurant of...
