Restoration Pizza in Albuquerque, New Mexico is a great place to go for beer and pizza. I was lured into the place by a sign that said beer, and I was not disappointed. The front façade has a huge area that looks like multiple buildings, which is a plus because it means that if you walk in for food, you can enjoy some beer, and if you walk in for beer, you can enjoy some food.

The atmosphere at Restoration Pizza is great, but it was a bit empty when I visited. They have a great facility with music playing and a wide variety of beers on tap. I was able to taste seven beers, and they were all delicious.

The food at Restoration Pizza is also good. I ordered a pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms, and it was very tasty. The pizza was cooked to perfection, and the toppings were generous.

We are visiting ABQ and thought we would sample the local cuisine so we chose this place. We saw that there were outdoor seating options so we entered and asked for an outdoor table equipped with chairs that was in the shade. I had to repeat my request twice so that the person who was attending us understood my request. I followed that person out the north door on a fruitless search. We finally were led inside and offered a table with chairs right inside the door. The greeter apologized repeatedly. I was amazed at the limited table seating outside. Backless picnic tables are not comfortable for long term seating. Oh Well. We ordered a half Hawaiian, half Socorro house special, she with Ice tea, me with an amber Bock beer. I would have preferred a dark ale or stout but there's nothing available on their draft menu. The pizza arrived and looked pretty good... until we discovered it to be under cooked to the point that the pineapple topping was cold to the touch! Either their ovens are seriously under temperature or our order sat on a cold tray or counter until it was just barely above room temperature. The toppings were not browned and the bottom crust was hardly tanned. (Picture) This pizza had been rushed through the oven and served before it was done. We brought this to the attention of our server who in turn discussed this with one of the pizza cooks. Their response was to send us a small cup of chunk pineapple that had been warmed up in a microwave 😳🤣 We're not going back, and if our friends ask about our dining experience we will not recommend this place. Top notch service and delicious food served by the best staff in town. I work with the City Of Vision Civitan Club and Best Buddies New Mexico and we often come eat here as a big group every so often and I’m always blown away by how hospitable and welcoming your staff are, they do their jobs so well and they know the menu. I spent a bit of my life in food service and also I’ve worked in customer service since I was 16, your staff are what truly exceptional service is! I have been eating here since 2021 when COVID was still a thing. I will be coming back and hopefully will finally get a growler of one of the yummy brews!

The green Chile cheeseburger pizza was delicious and flavor packed. It was beyond my expectations and it truly exceeded them!

The house margarita was a bit overpriced but still was delicious and the flavor was consistent all the way thru!

The dessert brownie was soft chewy and warm and the big hunk of ice cream ontop really added that extra pizzazz to the dish!!

Not to mention the atmosphere was classy and yet very welcoming and inviting!!!

Keep up the excellent work Restoration Pizza! I will be back again real soon and can’t wait to see bring my huge friend group with me to enjoy some great brews and pizza!!!
