Eastern Spa and Nails — Local services in Albuquerque

As a regular customer that has been going to have my nails done, I have never been so disappointed here. My mother and I went to have a pedicure and the gentleman that was doing my mothers toes was absolutely horrible to say the least. He cut the toe nails too short and very crooked. He did not cut her toes right either, he would cut most of the nail and pull the remaining part off with the nail clipper. He would dig into her cuticles when he was trying to clean them. I finally had to tell another employee that he needed to stop and have someone else finish them. Her toe nails were cut so short that they could not correct them from being crooked. While she was still trying to get her toes fixed the manager called the employee out and was teaching him in front of us on how to do pedicures. When it came time to pay they wanted to charge me full price for her pedicaure. I explained that it was not right for me to be charged for her pedicaure due to all of the mess up. After the employees discussed it they offered me a measly $5.00 off of her pedicure. I explained that I was not going to pay for something that they did wrong. My mother then showed the manager her toe nails and explained that she is not paying for this. After some fuming conversation with the manager she finally comped her pedicaure. The manager was unapologetic about it and seemed irritated at us about the situation. One of the employees that has always done my SNS came up and apologised about the situation. I don't understand how an employee took the initiative to apologize but the manager got upset. The employee that did my moms toes didn't even have a name tag and am unsure if he was licensed. By the way he performed I truly doubt he was licensed. If I could give no stars I would. The only reason they would get the one star from me is because of the employee that acted more like a manager than the...

I WENT IN ONCE BEFORE, THE EXPERIENCE WAS SO AWKWARD, I THOUGHT OKAY MAYBE ITS JUST BECAUSE I CAME IN AN HOUR BEFORE THEY CLOSE... THEY RUSHED THE SERVICE SO MUCH THAT MY NAILS WERE NOT EVEN DONE AND THEY MADE ME PAY, ALSO DEMANDED A TIP. AND THE NAILS WERE NOT EVEN AND CROOKED, AND I PAID OVER $80 FOR NAILS I COULD HAVE DONE MYSELF (THATS HOW BAD THEY WERE) AND IT WAS ONLY ON 2 NAIL POLISH COLORS.

THEN THIS SECOND TIME I WENT 4/21/2021... I CAME IN WELL BEFORE THEY CLOSED, AND MY NAILS CAME OUT WORSE THEN THE FIRST TIME, AND THIS SERVICE IS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES (BLUE NAILS). THEY ARE SO HORRIBLE AND SHE EXPECTED ME TO GIVE HER A TIP, AND I COULD TELL SHE WAS RUSHING AGAIN. AND WHILE MY NAILS WERE IN THE UV LIGHT, SOMETHING MELTED AND SHE BLAMED ME SAYING I DID IT?? ( HOW COULD I? ITS HER FREAKING UV LAMP LIGHT). IM SO DISAPPOINTED, I WANTED TO JUST GIVE THE SALON ANTHER SHOT. AND THEY ARE SO INCREDIBLY RUDE TO CUSTOMERS IN FRONT OF ALL CUSTOMERS. AND ONCE AGAIN, KAYLA DEMANDED A TIP. MY NAILS ARE JUST SO HORRIBLE FOR SPENDING $60 ON A FILL.(PLUS THE COLOR WAS CLEAR ACYRLIC AND IT DID NOT MATCH AT ALL). SHE ADDED THE TOP COAT AND CONTINUED TO FILE MY NAILS AFTER, SO IT JUST TOOOK OFF THE NAIL POLISH. AND THE ACRYLIC IS SO LUMPY ON 7 OF MY NAILS. THE ENDS ARE THICKER THEN THE NAIL CLOSEST TO THE CUTICLE. (LIKE YOU SEE IN PICTURES).

I DONT LIKE LEAVING REVIEWS BUT THIS PLACE REALLY DOES NOT DESERVE ANY GOOD REVIEWS AT THIS POINT, YOU WOULD THINK THEY WOULD BE SO KIND AND WELCOMING BUT IT SEEMS LIKE THEY JUST WANT YOU GONE EVERY TIME...

Looking forward to try this place out and ended up very dissapointed. My fav place were close at that moment so I decided to try Eastern spa. I have a really bad issue with my cracked heels and asked the guy who greets me what is the best treatment for my heels and he pointed the $60 collagen treatment. Read lots of great review for this place so i thought i’ll just go ahead and trust this guy know what he is suggesting. The lady that do my nail was very grumpy and from the beginning she is very rough with my feet, I had to shake my feet couple time from hurting and she didnt even bother to say sorry or look at me to check if im okay. She has to leave in the middle of my treatment, doing another person eyebrow for about 10 min on top of previous 10 min waiting time before she start doing my feet on the first placs. It was 20 min wait and it cause her to be in hurry in getting done with my treatment because they were closing. Very unprofessional. My heels were still looks bad. I did treatment like this often and this is the worst of money worth. I usually got 40-45 min treatment for $60 pedicure and its worth it, but not with this experience with this place, and they were just doing it in 20 min. The place itself is nice and clean. Some other tech looks friendly with other guests, maybe its just my unlucky day. Anyhow, i would not want to go back there. We all have a bad day, i get it.
