I’m expecting my first baby and my sisters are throwing me a baby shower, I asked my sister to ensure that the frosting on the cupcakes was not cream cheese frosting or buttercream frosting as my husband hates cream cheese and I was told not to eat buttercream frosting while I’m pregnant because of the raw egg in it. (I did post along with this from the web something stating exactly why) My sister called this place and was told they only use cream cheese and buttercream frosting. I thought she May have missed understood them or they miss understood her. So I called and the lady I spoke to was so rude. When I asked her about it her response to me was “Just look at recipes for buttercream they don’t have raw eggs”. I’ve made buttercream frosting before and the recipe required raw egg whites. (I’ve posted a recipe along with this which indeed calls for raw eggs even though according to this lady no buttercream frosting has raw eggs)All she needed to say was their buttercream does not include raw eggs, so no worries there. I honestly just can’t believe how rude she was to a perspective customer, in fact, it wasn’t until I mentioned her attitude that she began speaking to me in a professional manner. I sadly can’t speak to the quality of their cupcakes but I definitely will not be using them.

I don’t know if this establishment has hired a new cake decorator within the last year, but the quality has gone extremely downhill. For context, I purchased a cake last year and it came out absolutely gorgeous. When my birthday came around again this year, I placed my order once again for a custom cake. I ordered it about three weeks in advance, and it’s a rather small cake (feeds 4-8 people). It was supposed to be a white cake, with red piping and decorations. What I received was a white cake with icing holes (don’t know how else to describe it honestly), nearly no red piping, and the cake itself isn’t even level. While at the bakery, I asked the staff to please add more piping, as I was essentially staring at a white cake. Once the cake was returned to me, I was met with extremely uneven red piping around the cake. I’d paid in advance and my birthday was the next day, so I really had no option but to accept what was given to me. I have no idea why the cake itself is so tall and skinny (or lopsided), or why the staff stated they could add more piping only to hand me the most uneven piping I’ve ever seen. I wouldn’t suggest ordering a custom cake from here going forward.

First off... these are easily the best cupcakes I've ever had. If I was rating strictly based on the taste of the product, it'd be a five, hands down. Unfortunately, there are other factors of customer service that come into play. My husband reached out for a custom cupcake order a week before they were needed (their site requests special orders 3 days in advance). He was asked for what he was looking for, then bluntly told it was too complex and they were too busy. Looking over the communication, it very much felt like a brush off due to the effort not being worth the money they'd get out of it during a holiday week. Brenda did not offer an alternative (such as we can do something like this) or move the price point (we can do it for X amount) or adjust the number of items in the order. All of these would have been perfectly workable solves for the situation, and none of them were offered. It's a great product, but deep down, I think it's sad when a customer has to bring their own solution to the table to get something done. And then made to feel like they were a burden rather than valued.

I normally don’t write reviews, but I believe that if anyone whose willing to pay for professional work rather than going to Albertsons or making a cake yourself should be aware of this bakery’s customer service. When I first called to gain info I spoke to the owner and she was very nice. I sent her the picture of the cake I wanted for my daughters birthday party which was Frozen themed and I wanted a rainbow cake so when you cut into the cake you would see three different colors! She said she could totally do this but I would have to purchase the cake toppers myself, which right away I thought most bakeries provide their own toppers, so red flag #1. Well didn’t care because I really wanted this rainbow cake with purple, blue, and pink layered cake. After her telling me what the cost was I thought dang this better be worth the price because Sams club one was way cheaper. Anyways, I paid right away over the phone (requirement) but didn’t give me a receipt and said I had to call back for one. Which was red flag #2. So the next day I called to get my receipt and no answer for hours!! When I finally got through it was a different lady that answered and she was extremely rude, rushed and totally unprofessional. I told her I was calling to get my receipt and she rudely said well how am I supposed to help you without your name? I felt at that point to ask for my money back but when she realized I got upset she said I’m sorry it’s the system we have. Well this was red flag # 3. Then I found out I couldn’t get my money back. I finally got a receipt three days later! After the toppers came in I took them to the bakery and they couldn’t even find me in the system! Luckily I had my receipt on email! Red flag #4!! The day I picked it up the cake, the woman, not the owner was again very rushed, rude and the bakery was not welcoming. Again, they couldn’t find me in the system and the cake decorator came out and she was like are you the one with the Frozen cake? I just couldn’t believe the disorganization of this business. Anyways as she brought out the cake the toppers were falling off and landing on the floor and she would pick them up and put it back in the cake I was like what in the world are you doing? That’s disgusting!! The rude woman thought giving me a $5 gift card would make everything better.

At the party everyone was recording and all the kids were so excited to see the “rainbow” colors as I cut into the cake and guess what? NO COLORS!! I was so very upset! When I called the next day to complain, the owner had the audacity to hang up on me!! I should have went to Sams club. I will NEVER go back to this bakery or...

If I could give this place zero stars, I would! My nephew had an accident recently that ended up with a surgery, so I wanted to have some cupcakes sent to him when he got home. I purchased the cupcakes online through grubhub because I am a healthcare worker and could not take them myself. I called small cakes 3 times with no answer, on the 4th time I left a brief message stating that the cupcakes werent for myself but for my young nephew if they could just write his name on the box or on a sticky note and place it on the box. I then called a 5th time and a woman finally answered. I explained I called now 5 times and was just wanting to know if they recieved my voicemail. She said "we are too busy to be checking messages and besides we dont write anything on the boxes anyways we dont have time for that" I was literally shocked with the way she spoke to me especially because I just spent $37.69 for 6 cupcakes and a delivery fee. I told her that I was a healthcare worker and some patients often would bring cupcakes from there and I was just trying to support a local business and it was really sad that I had to call 5 times and left a voicemail just asking to put a name on a box for a paying customer. She then said "I'm the owner and I just checked the voicemails a while ago and you didnt leave anything". I said that was fine and she lost my business along with our companies business and probably some patients of ours after I told them. she then said "Good tell them, bye". Then hung up the phone. So like if that wasnt enough, then grubhubs driver mixed up my order and delivered it to another address. So my nephew never got his cupcakes. However, GrubHub was very understanding and they did refund my money back to me along with an apology. So I will be giving GrubHub another shot, as for this place not a chance. The "owner" is a very rude, unprofessional, inconsiderate person. I let everyone know about this including GrubHub. So I hope word gets around about this place. it's really sad how we are all going through a hard time right now and some people still have to be so ugly to each other. Especially in a professional setting. Never again will I or my family spend a penny at this...

Overall an ok experience. I reached out in email to place a custom mini order for my sisters graduation. Decided on flavors and was told to pay online by choosing the assorted mini box (I live out of state so coming in wasn't an option). They told me that once they had confirmation of my order number, they'd leave a note to make the flavors I picked instead of the assorted flavors. I sent confirmation of my payment and order number and that was that. When I come to pick up I was greatly disappointed to see that a note was not left and my order was an assortment and not the flavors I picked. When I told the employee about the email conversation, their reply was "I'm not sure, but we don't allow customization of minis". The employee was nice and let me pick out four regular sized cupcakes, they offered me a dozen but really I needed cake for 4 people, which is why the minis were perfect.

Now on to the actual cupcakes themselves. They were very boring. The cake itself was tastless, and my whole family agreed. All the flavor came from the overly sweet frosting. We all really enjoyed the frosting, despite it being way too sweet. Overall though, we were all pretty disappointed with the cakes.

I don't think I'll ever be back due to the disappointing experience and taste, not sure my family will either. I really wanted to love these, but they were just so...
