An Unforgettable Experience at My Favorite Speakeasy in Albuquerque

If you're in Albuquerque, there's an unmissable destination for an amazing night out: my favorite speakeasy in town. Right from the first step in, you'll notice the atmosphere that's both lively and welcoming. However, the true magic starts when you approach the bar, where Jessica, Arcy, and Devin show off their craft mastery.

This place prides itself on an already impressive menu. Yet, what makes it exceptional is the staff's talent for customizing your experience. Simply offer them a flavor profile or a specific spirit, and they'll expertly craft a concoction that surpasses your expectations time and time again.

Beyond the superb drinks, the ambiance truly sets this speakeasy apart. It perfectly combines historic charm with modern vibes, encapsulating the essence of the speakeasy narrative. The guests here echo this vibrant energy, adding to the welcoming buzz of the place.

In a city like Albuquerque, this speakeasy stands out with its unique mix of top-notch staff and engaging atmosphere. If you're seeking an unforgettable outing, this is the place to be. Here, you'll be greeted by dedicated mixologists ready to take you on a memorable flavor journey.

Every visit to this speakeasy adds a new element to its allure, marking it as a must-visit destination for locals and visitors alike. So, don't miss the chance to enjoy a delightful drink, share a laugh, and create memories at this hidden gem in...

Teddy Roe's in Albuquerque is the ultimate speakeasy experience that you won't want to miss. From the moment you step inside, you'll be transported back in time to the era of Prohibition, where secret bars were the norm. For those who aren’t familiar, speakeasies were secret establishments that sold alcohol illegally during the Prohibition era.

At Teddy Roe's, the owners, who are also the bartenders, have created a cozy and intimate atmosphere that feels like a secret hideaway. The dim lighting, vintage decor, and carefully curated playlist all contribute to the experience. But what really sets Teddy Roe's apart are the expertly crafted cocktails that are made with the highest quality ingredients.

The owners' passion for their craft is evident in every drink they serve. They take great care in selecting the best spirits and ingredients and experiment with new techniques and flavors to create unique and delicious cocktails.

But that's not all – the owners are also happy to share their knowledge of speakeasy history with patrons. They're always willing to chat and make sure everyone feels welcome.

Overall, Teddy Roe's is a must-visit if you're in Albuquerque. It's a perfect spot for a romantic night out or catching up with friends. The attention to detail and the passion that the owners put into every aspect of their establishment truly make it an unparalleled...

Today I was very disappointed when we were turned away because my wife’s ID had expired 4/13/25. She didn’t notice it expired just 6 days ago which I’m sure has happened to many. Initially we just accepted our fate and left because I don’t know the laws but I looked them up out of curiosity as we walked to our car. It turns out in the state of NM it doesn’t matter if an ID is expired. I’ll show in a screenshot from the NMRLD website attached to my review. So once I found this information about the expired ID not being a requirement to be served alcohol, we walked back to show the doorman. He, being the manager, said their house rules were that they don’t accept expired ID’s regardless of what I showed him the state law said. We expressed to him that we came from Los Lunas and if he could make an exception considering what the law states and how far we traveled. He then said since we had already been denied entrance there was no amending that. The irony to me is that a speakeasy is based on the prohibition days where they served alcohol illegally, yet here today you’re saying that you’re speakeasy house rules are more rigid than the actual law? Absolutely ridiculous! Of course we could go anywhere else to drink but we had looked forward to our date night having teddy roes being apart of...

I booked a table for my boyfriend’s 40th birthday . I was googling surfing looking for the perfect spot when I came across Teddys . It was a place I knew we both hadnt been to and the speakeasy was the winning factor . After reading about it it said it was a quiet , intimate atmosphere. Being that I had been to Vernon’s speakeasy expecting it to be similar , however it was not . As we walked into this tiny little “bakery” all we were told were to read to “rules” before entering . Once entering it was extremely loud with people walking around table to table as if it were a sports bar . No one was in dress code . We didn’t get any kind of cool back story or anything . Not the mention the place is TINY . Our waitress was nice but was Wearing fabletics leggings and a tank top. No one or nothing was playing the role as to other speakeasy’s i been to. The food menu contained of only 3 main dishes to choose from. Food was a bit different but not terrible . And the drinks were good . Over all I did not enjoy the experience and would never recommend or return.
