Pulled up to drive through.. No one was on speaker... Asked if they were open... No answer... Said hello a few times... Backed up n pulled to speaker again... Nothing.... Pulled forward to window and employees scattered like roaches... No answer there either so pulled up near door.... Sign said they were open... Couldn't see anyone... Just a customer... Parked and went in... No employees visable... After a minute or so an employee came to take order... Asked him if drive through was down n he said it was working. Asked why No one was there to take orders in drive through and could see couple employees in back area with headsets on duck out of view. Ordered.... Waited... Saw basket of fries hanging over fryer.... Waited... Employee went to bag the fries for my order and he grabbed the ones that had been hanging over the fryer and I asked him to make some fresh since those had been hanging over fryer grease for at least the 10 minutes I had already been there... (Makes them soggy n gross)... Asked for corporate number. Was told he was going to get manager... Waited few more minutes and manager never came out. Instead, they wrote a number on my receipt for corporate... Still waiting for food... Few minutes later employee gives me bag of food and said they were waiting on the tenders. Tenders were down in a fryer that was smoking pretty bad, literally. I checked bag... Not my order... Employee took it back and I waited. ..... Finally employee brings me my food. By this time I was already late for work so just checked to make sure all items were there. Employee then offered me a senior drink, which I declined. I left, get to work, give my coworker his meal and open my tender boxes. They were dark dark dark brown. I pulled one apart and it was pink inside... So.... Fryer grease was so old it was smoking while cooking the tenders... Made the outside look almost burnt while the inside was undercooked. Coworkers junior deluxe burger was only meat, cheese, LOTS of mayo n ketchup. No lettuce. No tomato... Needless to say, we were very disappointed and I will be calling corporate. No employees, that I saw, had name tags on so they will have to reference...
Read moreThis Wendy's is right down the street from my home so I'm there every so often. Normally it runs smooth, sometimes they'll forget ketchup or napkins or whatever but what can you do? Anyways - This particular evening, it was about 11 pm...fairly slow only a couple cars. We pulled up to the speaker and not a word, no "welcome be right with you" so my cousin (driver) said Hi to try and get some attention and the girl piped on and said "be right with you". So we put the order in, a 4 for $4 with a Jr bacon cheese burger. We requested no tomato or mayo and barbeque for the chicken nuggets. Here's where it got annoying and plain unprofessional. We pulled up and she said the total was $6 and some change. Confused we asked if she heard us mention it was a 4 for 4...she immediately began breaking down the order for us and said we asked for an extra Jr bacon cheeseburger...well we didn't so we mentioned that and she took it off. She gave us the food and we drove off thinking we better check it cause they messed it up before we even got the food you know? There was no barbeque, and both tomato and mayo on the burger...😠. We turned around and when we got to the window he very calmly said "I asked for barbeque and no tomato or mayo.." she said nothing she just took the burger and turned around and asked us to pull forward. They came out and gave us the new order, no barbeque 😡. We knocked on the window and the guy said "sorry no barbeque". That might've been the cashier's fault though.
Ugh, it wouldn't have been a huge deal if the attitude and absence of courtesy weren't involved. Sorry, long story but my point is I didn't appreciate the cashier's rudeness. I'm sorry if you had a bad day or whatever was going on but c'mon now you're at work - it makes me wonder how Wendy's is training their employees. I've worked in the food industry before...I know for a fact I wasn't trained to treat the...
Read moreCame in a few days ago and I will never return to this wendy’s unless theres some serious staffing fix. So disappointed when I walked into the lobby and made an order with the girl up front. No issue with the worker she was respectful and kind, however, the entire time I listened to a middle aged woman with black hair who I’d assumed is the manager yell and berate the other employees. I worked fast food before so I understand it being stressful, but that is no excuse to be treating your employees so terribly. I come occasionally as I work nearby and have been noticing theres almost never familiar faces, and now I know why. Here’s a tip for the rude manager maybe treat your employees better and you won’t keep going through so many of them. As a mother of 3 it was so disappointing to see this woman yelling at essentially a bunch of teenagers. kids. I hope this location does something about it because customers should not have to listen to you treat children like garbage. Sorry to the poor girls who were working near the front as you could see plain as day how upset they were. Aside from the horrible manager the other employees were nice and very fast. Food was...
