I am finally getting around to write a review about the BEST COFFEE place in the greater Albuquerque area...

I like this place because the coffee is the best. I have had the pleasure of going here for just about as long as they have been open.

I am a picky S.O.B. beyond comparison and the ownership got my attention in one big way: They care.

Also, they try. Angie and her husband as owners want things right and they want customers to be satisfied. That matters to me as well as many others.

Angie cares about her employees and she is amazingly flexible when it comes to scheduling her staff as they are either in college or have another job. She has loyal people behind the counter!

She is patient and I have seen many of her employees become tremendous baristas! She believes in her people!

The patience and teaching she offers her employees are quite remarkable!

Angie's husband is the Chief of the Roast. He does a great job, and I can always count on his expertise to make the finest roast no matter what the bean. I don't have to wonder if my cup of coffee will be just right. It's always in the bank.

MAN, OH MAN, Whispering Bean must be doing something right. They have a second location opening on 528 within a month- with a drive thru!

If that wasn't enough, they now have their coffee for sale at select WALMART stores. A local carving out shelf space in the mega giant superstores?!

Thank you, Whispering Bean, for all of the SUPERIOR coffee and goodies that I have had over the years!

I am not paid, not an employee, not a relative, just a loyal...

As a former Starbucks employee, you can imagine Im very picky about my coffee.. I know exactly how I want my caramel macchiato's, when a bad shot is pulled, and when the coffees gone bitter. I've lived in multiple states from west coast to Gulf coast and haven't found a coffee shop that I'll enjoy more than my go-to drink at Starbucks, until now. The whispering bean SERIOUSLY knows coffee and has amazingly mastered the art of making a tasteful drink. Every coffee shop I go to I always add 1-2 extra shots, and adjust the sweetness because the drinks are always too weak and too sweet. But here I've never had to add an extra shot because they've got a great espresso and know how to make a good strong bold and balanced shot. (& their iced small comes with 3 shots I believe vs starbucks that only has 1 for basically the same price) I do however get less sweetener in my drinks, but I'm not too big on sugary things.

Also! They are SO kind and loving and genuine. They play positive uplifting music in their store, and their values are good! My two toddlers go with me whenever I go, and each get an Honest Juice Box which is only around $.59! Try to find something to please a toddler at Starbucks for that cheap. Cause you won't:)

Thank you Whispering Bean for making my coffee life a little brighter:) you've always got a...

Just an update to how much I love whispering bean! The staff is always friendly no matter what time of day I go in there. The baked goods are always fresh. The coffee is always delicious. Since they have expanded into the space next to them it’s even funner to spend time there. The owners together have such a great vision and they are such excellent humans. And I feel the same way about the staff. I feel so lucky that whispering being is so close to my house and every time I go in there and leave I feel good about it.

My favorite coffee shop in all of Albuquerque. It is super clean and cute and cozy and Angie and her staff all wear their masks all the time. They are super conscientious about the mandate and I really appreciate that. The coffee is delicious and her husband does all of the roasting. Most of the pastries, I think maybe even all of them Angie and her staff make on site. There’s not a lot of Costco or grocery store product in there. And I really love that about her. Angie and her staff are kind and easy-going and very efficient. I’m so happy that her and her husband opened up whispering been and I am hoping they...

I tried Whispering Bean for the first time today, which was a Sunday at 10am. There was ample seating of different kinds, including normal chairs, high chairs, and comfy lounge chairs. The service was friendly. I ordered two egg bites; one was the spinach, egg, tomato, and feta selection. The other was the ham, egg, green chile, and cheese. The barista warned the bites, but they were barely lukewarm on the outside and room temperature in the middle. The heating timer should likely be doubled. I ordered an iced white chocolate mocha. I don’t really remember it either way, even though I just got home from the coffee shop. Overall, a nice-looking, clean place with ample seating. The coffee isn’t remarkable, and the food needs to be heated longer.

Atmosphere is great. They have added more seating and just overall are in a good spot woth good lighting. The service: staff is friendly and helpful Food: I ordered a burrito bowl- it costs $7.50 plus. I was debating between the burrito and burrito bowl- the burrito is $5.65plus I figured for the price difference the bowl must be much larger and I was hungry... however, it was honestly the same portion that you would get in the burrito minus the tortilla for 2 plus dollars more. Taste wise it was good. Lots of hash maybe if I counted egg it was 1 small egg ;(, maybe a teaspoon of bacon bits, but tasty green chili ( tasted like 505 green chili). I would recommend this spot for sure overall. I would just suggest a review of the food prices.
