I would honestly rate this store a zero star if it was possible.
For 3 weeks, I went into this office on several occasions and called 4 times and even left my name and contact information so, they could notify me when my phone parts arrived in order to fix my cellphone.
I was told by the manager Pam that she had ordered the parts and she would call me as soon as they came in.--I never heard back from her.
So, I called back a second time and spoke with Paul, he had no idea what was going on with my phone order. He told me he was all by himself and I would have to call back and speak to Pam, when she returned to work.
So, I went back to the store where Pam--apologized and said she had in deed ordered the wrong phone parts and would reorder them and call me back as soon as they arrived. Again, I never heard back from her.
I then called back and spoke to a third employee who also had no paper trail on the status of my order. It was like their was no communication or orgazation/tracking system put in place for customers orders.
I then asked for a contact number for their regional manager, he told me he didn't have one.
So today I went back three weeks later, speaking to a Paul again Who still was in the dark, he also could not help me or also give me a regional managers phone numner. I was livid asking that he call his manager.
He said we'll if I did, she would not pick up the phone on her day. I am sorry but if someone had experience what I did as a customer, she better pick up the phone, especially knowing a customer was going to contact corporate and leave a possible bad review. Like I am this evening.
Ironically, assurion my insurance provider owns u break it we fix it. I did in deed put a complaint in and will not be back to this store.
Secondly, I called the Eastside store, which had my parts in store both times I checked. They also fixed my phone in 2 hours on the same day I called to see about making an appointment. - Hayden an employee there, was amazing, he even texted me to let me know my phone was ready.
The Eastside store has a complete and amazing level of customer service, follow through and ability to meet their customers needs.
AS FOR THE WESTSIDE STORE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND YOU WASTE YOUR TIME GOING THERE.
Their level of customer service is zero, their accountabilty and follow thru are null and void.
Although, My husband and I each paid $1800.00 dollars for our cell phones, in addition to the insurance premium we pay each month. No customer should have to experience the less than acceptable customer service we recieved from the westside store.
This is the westside address: 3410 NM-528 Suite 108, Albuquerque, NM 8711 Do not waste your time. ZERO Rating for stars...
This is the Eastside address:
6400 Holly Ave NE J, Albuquerque, NM 87113 5...
Read moreI’d gone in to get my iPhone 13 Pro’s back glass replaced. I had planned on trading in that device to a new mobile carrier but needed the phone in good condition before doing so.
I brought the phone in, was given a quote of 4 hours for completion and a price of ~120.00.
I returned 4 hours later to find out that the lasering machine they use to remove the chipped pieces of glass from the device had penetrated into the device and essentially fried my motherboard, thereby bricking my phone. It had no function.
The rep, Pamela, was empathetic to the situation, and had told me she’d contacted her boss all the way up to the regional manager to find a solution.
She offered to give me a loaner phone (a Pixel 6a) for the week while they worked on getting me a brand new replacement. The nature of my job requires me to keep the same make of cell phone, so that wasn’t an option. I eventually ended up going and getting a new iPhone 15 early while they worked on my replacement. I was given a timeline of “end of the week” (this incident had occurred on a Monday) and was told that they would even upgrade the phone replacement to a 13 Pro Max if possible.
I called on that Friday and was told that there was not yet an update on my replacement device and was told that Pam was out until the following Monday. I was a bit annoyed that this wasn’t communicated to me and I had to reach out personally to discover this.
On Monday, I called again and reached Pam, who told me the phone had come in. I came by and picked up the iPhone 13 ProMax and was charged 30.00 for the service. They’d kindly upgraded the phone for me when they didn’t have to, which made me definitely willing to pay the heavily discounted 30.00 for the service.
The new device has some odd markings around the camera and under the back glass which a new phone from the Apple Store wouldn’t have had (which isn’t a huge deal in the grand scheme of things), and the camera app will not switch to the 3x zoom when I operate it. Pam offered to run it through a program to recalibrate it because she claimed it was a genuine part, but the recalibration did not work. A bit of a funky issue, but not a huge deal to me.
Overall, I give three stars for their overall customer service during the situation. This sounds like a very seldom occurrence, but nonetheless it still did put me in a bind to purchase a new device while I waited for the old one to be repaired.
They did right by me in the end. I think I would rather stick with AppleCare, even with the price, for the guarantee on care for my personal iPhone, but I cannot deny that they did a rather good job with the...
Read moreI absolutely hate my new iPhone screen. First off, I had to go into this store three times to get my phone fixed. I dropped off my phone initially because the screen was shattered, and I thought this place had good reviews. When I got it back a few hours later, there was a big blue blotch on the new screen. I then had to take the phone back the next day to get yet another screen put on. This one looked better, but upon inspection, I found that the safety screws were not put into my phone leaving gaps for water to enter. I took it back the next day and had those put back in. Never did anyone apologize or try to make amends for the fact that my screen should have been done correctly the first time. In fact, I was even hassled that I needed to make a warranty request on one of my interactions. A warranty request for a screen you never put on correctly in the first place? Now, a few months later, I hate my screen so much. The screen can be completely unresponsive. I will type, and it misses half of the letters I type because it isn’t registering them. It also can’t scroll. When I am trying to scroll down, it frequently registers my scrolling as a press down, so then it clicks on whatever is on the screen. Trust me, after this happening over and over and over, it becomes infuriating. I also can no longer use messages properly. The function on the iPhone where you can tap on an image or text and give it the “thumbs up” or “heart” or “haha” is almost completely off limits to me. The new screen cannot register the differences between tapping, pressing, scrolling, etc. I really wish I had kept my shattered screen. My broken screen was better than the new piece of junk I bought here. My sister, who works at Apple, told me that they lie about OEM parts because Apple doesn’t sell OEM to anyone. Maybe the screens they have are fine for some brand phones, but my Apple phone is not working with this new screen. It’s also worth noting that if you buy your screen here, Apple will not do any work on your phone ever again. I do NOT recommend this...
