Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Alexandria

Listen, I love chicken salad chick. I frequent the one in Tennessee where I'm from and the one in Lake Charles so much that I have so many bonus points on the app I'm able to get any of the prizes they offer. ANYWAY, I came to this location the other day and was absolutely baffled. I ordered my 3 year old the Mac and cheese kids meal and the young lady working the register told me they don't have Mac and Cheese kids meals, it's only a side. First of all, if you look at the bottom right of the menu under "little chicks" it clearly lists it as an option. I politely pointed that out to her, to no avail. So I ended up getting a PB and J kids meal with mac and cheese as a side. We were dining in (there were 4 of us) and they dropped off our food in to-go boxes, which isn't a huge deal, just a waste and inconvenient. When I was visiting Alexandria I drove by this location and was intrigued. A chicken salad place next to another chicken restaurant - I had to try something new. We drove up to the location 40 minutes before they were supposed to be closing, and even though they could see us at the door, they ignored us. I was determined to try this place out so we went around to the drive-thru. Two of us ordered plates with 3 scoops each - both different. They were out of ice tea and didn't offer us anything else but we got a fountain drink. When we got back to our room to look at our meals, we had absolutely no idea which meal was which - it just looked like a bunch of white globes. Some type of identification would have been a huge help. Interesting concept, but not well executed. I love the food at Chicken Salad Chick! It is always fantastic. I drive from a neighboring parish at least once a month and go thru the drive thru to order. I usually order for two or three meals since it's a bit of a drive and I hate going to Alexandria. What I DON'T like is there is always at least one thing missing from my order. After waiting for at least 15 minutes after ordering in the drive thru and having a line of cars behind me I trust every time it surely has to be right. But again IT WASN'T! The small Dixie chicken salad I ordered which I believe is around $7 was missing today!! And it normally is at least this much they take me for every single time!!
