What can I say,if you read my,other reviews for grocerers you know if I'm giving 5 stars the store must have...great staff, ✔ check. This store has Awesome AWESOME produce,✔ check. A pretty darn good meat department ✔ check, to me it's pretty vast in choices plus great repeat weekly deals. Nice deli with yummy fried catfish y'all! Plus,the staff in that department ✔ ✔ check! Great prices on many items, carry a large portion of Hispanic type ingrediants,much of it near produce just an fyi. ✔ check. For a big store it's REALLY well,lighted inside doesn't have a warehouse type vibe at all.Seasonal items are a quick grab as soon as you walk in the,doors to the right, whether,Easter or BBQ stuff it's easy to find. Fairly priced and usually nice mark downs after the holiday. They have some live plants and flowers that look very nice healthy and a great gift for any reason. Store is always clean, well stocked and the space in,the Isles y'all...its awesome you don't have to about crawl over other customers or their kids to shop here. So Check check ✔. I love kids, mine ,yours don't matter but not all in the way when ppl trying to shop. Ya know what I mean? Enjoy your shopping here...

Very expensive on many regular items..a dollar or more on most things than all Walmarts around here (Alexandria La) Example: Chicken Breasts Walmart... 2.98 lb Super1.......3.99 - 4.28 lb, and the quality is lower.. Example: Ribeye Steak Walmart..10.98 - 12.98 lb choice and prime (Angus) Super1..... 14.98 - 15.98 lb and its select, the lowest possible quality to sell for human consumption. UPDATE 07/15/24 Of course all things when went up because of economy... Its horrible. I stopped going to un-super 1 foods stores. Biggest gripe is they sell select meats for prime prices and the population here aren't aware. Meat comes in several grades, prime, choice, select. Prime is best, select is lowest quality. There are 2 other grades but they are not intended for human consumption. You'd be surprised how many don't know this and un-super 1 takes advantage of that fact.
