Delivers on Flavor, Portions, and Peace Stepping into Pamela's is an immediate relief from the everyday hustle. The atmosphere is one of serene calm, a gentle hum of conversation replacing any jarring noise. What immediately struck me, and what I deeply appreciated, was the generous spacing between tables. This thoughtful layout allows for truly private conversations, making it an ideal spot for anything from an intimate dinner to a discreet business lunch. But let's talk about the food, because that's where Pamela's truly shines. From the first bite, it was clear that the kitchen here understands flavor. Each dish I sampled was an explosion of well-balanced spices and fresh ingredients, proof that "packed with flavor" isn't just an empty promise on their menu. And if you're someone who appreciates a hearty meal, you're in luck – the portions here are exceptionally generous. You'll leave feeling more than satisfied, without a doubt. A unique and delightful touch at Pamela's their themed days, where specific dishes take center stage. This innovative approach adds an exciting element of discovery to each visit, encouraging patrons to return and experience the full breadth of their culinary offerings. My visit to Pamela's was a genuinely excellent experience. Read moreMy mother and I visited this establishment on 5/13/2021 due to my mom hearing about it on the news, the food was good I will say. I ordered a plate to go, Red beans along with the 2 sides, I also ordered chicken as well, I guess the young lady that was fixing my food was not having a good day because she took my covered tray that had the chicken in it and threw it on the counter to the young man that was checking me out and stated "here take this S##t" apparently I wasn't supposed to hear her say it but I did,the young man also stated "awe did you hear that? It was a young lady sitting next to him and she also agreed that she heard what she stated and whispered back to her her words. I did not say anything at that time because I didn't want to seem wrong and act up in this establishment but I did call and was told the owner was not there ,someone did call and asked what happened and stated the owner would get in touch with me and my mother, I have yet to hear from anyone. I have tried to support black owned businesses but I will not support this one if the staff thinks the...
Read moreThe atmosphere is casual and laid back as are the staff. The food is rotated with different meal options depending on the day. On my visit I had the meatloaf with sides of yams and cabbage with a side salad. The meatloaf was tasty and smothered in gravy. The cabbage was fresh, well cooked, and we'll seasoned. The yams on the other hand gave me a sugar shock. If you like sweet and lots of sugar, you'll love the yams. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to eat more than a few bites of the yams due to the extensive amount of sugar used. Cake is provided for dessert free of charge with the purchase of a plate lunch. As was the deal with the yams, the cake is loaded with sugar and overly sweet. As for drinks, if you get the sweet tea, you will be presented with an overly sweet tea with more sugar than I was able to handle. The salad dressings seemed as if they were store bought and not made in house. They lacked any pizzaz or noticeable flavor. All in all, this is a decent place to eat and the food is fresh. My only complaint is the sheer amount...
