I order from this location fairly often as we have a weekly in office day and I'd say we have it once a month. 75% of the time, there is a mistake. Nothing major, obviously, but it gets frustrating. Today I ordered at 12:40 PM and it is now 1:34 PM. I have heard nothing. I called the store just for an update, and someone picked up, but after I mentioned my issue, they hung up. I called 3 more times thinking it must be a mistake, and they were just picking up and hanging up immediately before I said anything. This has to be the WORST customer service. I was being extremely polite, and I understand they are likely busy. I just wanted an update. I'm a 15 minute walk from this store, so delivery should be relatively easy. It is very clear the managers at this location do not have adequate training or a grasp on what their employees need to be doing. Again, the person hung up. No asking me to wait on hold, no apology, just immediate closing of the call, repeatedly. We spend about 150 a month here, which isn't much in the grand scheme, but I think we may be done with this location. I would recommend others stay away as well, because the inconsistency and lack of attention to detail is only getting worse. Edit: When the food arrived, we were missing chips, the food was smushed and items were incorrect, and we got a fountain drink instead of...
Read moreWe’ve been residents here for years and can safely say these guys have the best sandwiches in the area. My family has sampled sandwiches from other spots but always come back to this Potbelly. The food is delicious, always fresh, clean and well done. We typically customize our orders for dietary reasons and they always get it right every time! Recently I forgot to add a topping to my order and they added it at no cost, no questions asked! Plenty to say about the food but that’s not where the story ends. They keep the space clean and sanitary, and in these challenging COVID times, the staff are always spotting a clean mask, which makes me feel that much more confident ordering from them. It’s plenty reassuring as well to see how they go the extra mile to secure pick-up orders with temper-free seals. But above all, these guys deserve a medal for their customer service! Khalid (the owner/manager?) has this gentle demeanor about him, is always accommodating and treats customers like family, and that makes for a great environment that’ll have us coming back again and again. I know he’s part of a fabulous team, but shoutout to one very cheerful and affable Joe, who was our server today, and who made our scrumptious sandwiches! Suffice it to say, I highly...
Read moreOut of most fast food restaurants I've been to, this place can easily beat many other restaurants who offer meat ball sandwich. Yes, it comes with 2 different sizes and bread for subs, Smalls and Bigs, and white and wheat. This is the golden standard for sandwich shops. They'll ask you which size and bread, then they'll arrange them and give a ladel of Mariners sauce and provolone.
That sub then goes through a series of illuminated red hot rods on a griddle conveyor belt, it becomes perfectly brown and crispy on the end. Which is 100% certain that it will. Provolone is the standard cheese but you can ask for swiss. You yourself will then pass through a series of voodoo chips, which you'll say, "why not?" Jalapenos or Salt and Vinegar. By the time you finish pondering, you'll see the beautiful melting half sliced bread and it's golden brown exterior. Miracles.
They'll then ask you which toppings you like, mayo, oil, sliced pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, vinegarette, jalapenos, and hot peppers. They'll wrap and slice it down the middle, wrap it again and reach for the brown paper bag which will steam and get juicy in the inside by the time you sit down in your brown wooden seat. I have probably have eaten this same sub maybe, close to 600...
