Food poisoning—We love Thai food, but this place is not worth going to. My friend and I frequent local restaurants. Went here for drunken noodles and pad-Thai, mango & sticky rice. The food was average, but that was my thoughts on taste. The worst came a couple of hours afterwards. I had diarrhea for two days, my friend was throwing up and had to leave work early. We were both sick and I called the manager to make him aware of the situation. I had to call multiple times (because my call was never returned.) I explained to him what happened. He told me that he would have to wait a few days to see if other customers called to complain before refunding me. At first I was annoyed with the careless attitude, now I’m upset because their food ruined my last 2 days at work. They wanted a report from the doctor. I asked if they wanted pictures of diarrhea in the toilet too. I would think they would have more compassion for missed days at work (my friend had to leave work early) or for what we had endured thanks to their food, but no. To top it off, while I went to pay for my bill, the waitress took my dessert away when it wasn’t finished. I told the person who I had just paid, and they were kind enough to bring it back from the kitchen completely squashed (other plates on top?) it was rude and disgusting for them to bring it back that way. I went to Thai signature 8/2/23 It was a pickup, my sister and mother joined me and we all were excited to get together eat Thai food, especially at the restaurant because it was one of the few places we like to eat Thai. Which was just the beginning of it all. As my mother found plastic piece that wasn’t related to the container. Besides the that my sister, my mom and I all got food poisoning throwing up , with fever and staying in bed the next day. I had the very first thing knowing supervisors/ managers are in a bit earlier than opening time. At first they told me no one until 11 ( very odd becuase I have worked at restaurants and wondered who opened ) then I called back at 11 and I was told no one until the evening and that what they told me wasn’t true. Basically calling me a liar. Which is upsetting because they had told me they weren’t lying . Then I call back and same thing began to happen but I had to get slightly more upset than before and passed me on. Then told me I had to provide papers and documents on the food poisoning. Here’s my question why I have to provide so much and been called a liar more than once and I have to believe them when they tell me no manager is on duty? how come that is ? Ate here not once, but twice in one weekend a few weeks ago. It was that good! The interior is not particularly Thai, but it has a very cozy atmosphere with white painted brick and modern decor. We were promptly greeted with a smile almost immediately after entering and quickly seated at a table. Menus were produced, then beverage orders (Singha, of course!) were taken in short order. We also ordered some edamame to snack on. I love this! In 3 minutes we were relaxing and getting ready to enjoy an evening of one of our favorite cuisines. Drinks and edamame came quickly, but we were not rushed and and the server gave us some time for our mains. We ended up ordering the Drunken Volcano (noodles) and the Kapow Perfect (rice), both with chicken. The dishes were excellent and were more than enough for two people. As expected, both starches were perfectly cooked and gave some weight to the dishes. The spices in both were also excellent, although I cranked it up to a 4 for my Drunken noodles, which made me feel it was a Volcano lol! We actually ordered the exact dishes 2 days later because we were leaving early the next morning and wanted a sure thing. Service was professional and on point.
