MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Algonquin

Very good pizza, I have had this concept in northern California. Jut not a mod pizza chain and I really liked the build your own style. Some reasons for the 3 star review are as follows. Improper glove use, pizza handler had no gloves I did see hand washing In between use but defeats the purpose of every station using gloves if that person does not. Second is the mess behind the counter their is not proper disposal of dirty pans and thus they ended up on the floor in front of guests even seen some stepped on by employees. Second I think he was the manager had no drive to help staff clean but just stood waiting for pizzas to cook and never once touched a dirty dish or tried to clean the mess guess that is a above his duty. Now I am a. Executive chef and I'll admit during very busy times it gets a little messy but that does not give me a pass to not have proper food service protocol. Not looking for money just wanted to pass this along. If I had a business of my own I'd want to know so that I'm not ruining a good thing and fix the problem before it escalates.

This is a great new place if you are wanting pizza, better than other places like dominos or papa John's and I feel like it's needless to say but even pizza hut. The reason I don't rate five stars is because this place has a few things I didn't enjoy upon my visit. First the manager or possible owner was talking down to his staff the entire time I was there and I don't really care to see staff in a restaurant I'm visiting get bullied. The manger talked very fast and made it seem like he was trying to rush me (there was no one behind me and only two in front) which felt rude. They forgot to put an item I had asked them to add on my pizza though I won't be to upset about this as I forgot to check if they charged me for it but I personally don't care that much. Overall I'd be willing to update this review on my next visit because it may have been an off day for them, just in case I wanted to possibly...
