The current manager who works here regularly hangs up on people, won’t rectify situations and is just downright awful to people. Read more reviews below for very similar situations this manager has been in with customers time after time.
I ordered from them and items were made incorrectly and I couldn’t eat them due to allergies. I also received someone else’s order and part of my order was totally forgotten. This is like the 3rd time this has happened at this store so I called to speak to a manager. When I asked for a manager the person just put down the phone without saying anything. Then they picked it up and said “Can I help you?” I said “Can I speak to a manager?” And they just said yes, can I help you?” I said “Is this the manager,” and they just said “Can I help you?”
Finally, I said, I just need to speak to the manager, are you the actual manager??” They said, “I don’t know why you’re being hostile, and hung up.”
So I drove to Papa John’s assuming that COULD NOT have been the manager so I could talk to the real manager. When I got there, the person from the phone was there and said that he was in fact the manager. When I expressed my frustration he just said “I don’t even want to be the manager. I don’t care about this job. I’m just working here because my friends asked me to help them out, and again multiple times “I don’t want to be the manager.”” No apology for hanging up on me or for messed up orders. Nothing. He just continued to be rude and mean.
Needless to say, I won’t be ordering there again. Nothing like ordering food and getting treated like crap by the actual manager when...
Read moreIts unfortunate what this world has come to. I tried to call the Algonquin location to place an order for 10 pizzas for a party we are having and the very robotic answering service asked multiple choice what my call was for then someone definitely from another country call center answered the call, couldn't pronounce our town name wanted to push through my order as if he was reading a prompter on how to even talk to me. I just needed some cheap pizzas for a kids party where they are gonna drop most of it on the ground anyways, but after seeing what you get for cheap pizza, I realize the importance to support my local shops that actually pick up the phone and can answer questions about the FOOD you are trying to order. This country has turned into a robotic mill that just pumps out what it can for as cheap as it can regardless of how impersonable it is. sad. The reason it matters if I'm talking to the person at the store itself is because i want to be promised that it mill be here by a certain time and I had a few questions about the toppings and the person in another country absolutely can NOT promise me a thing they don't even know how to look up the answer for my questions. I wont be supporting big corporation pizza ever. most the money is going to the wrong...
Read moreIf I’m in the mood for pizza, I typically search out a family-owned, local pizza place.
However, once in a while I get a craving for Papa John’s. That garlic sauce and pepper just know how to draw me in!
I usually do the two item deal they offer. I’ll typically order a pepperoni pizza and an order of Buffalo wings.
The pizza is your typical Papa Johns. This location thankfully does NOT skimp on cheese or ingredients. The chicken wings were cooked thru and very juicy- no fat or gristle.
I always add on a few extra garlic sauces and peppers. Delivery is always quick and hot. Heads up: sometimes they use Doordash to deliver for them leading to cold pizza. Most Dashers don’t have a pizza bag. It’s really a luck of the draw on who will deliver.
A solid Papa John’s location that is open late and delivers a fresh, hot pizza. What more can...
