Lucky House — Restaurant in Allen

For vegetarians/vegans: they do not have a vegetarian sauce.

I have ordered from Lucky House at least five times now and every time I order from there I always ask for the same thing: Low Mein with vegetables and tofu but with a vegetarian sauce since low Mein sauce has oyster sauce!

The food has always been great. However, when I called today to order again, they had a new attendant on the phone. I asked for the vegetarian sauce and she said they did not have a vegetarian sauce. I told her are you sure? Because I have ordered a vegetarian sauce for months now. She was nice enough to go double check with the chef and it turns out she was right, which makes me wonder what the hell have I been eating?

I think it’s absolutely unethical to tell the customer you provide a vegetarian option when you will actually cook her meal with something non-vegetarian. I am absolutely disappointed and disgusted by this place. Only reason I didn’t give 1 star is that my husband, who eats meat,...

The food is good, sushi is a bit cold compared to other restaurants. Like the rice. The sesame chicken is absolutely amazing. The service depending on who it is helping you, if it’s the young lady with the glasses I love her assistance, she’s very nice and welcoming as well as attentive. If it’s the other lady not a fan. I normally eat in but a time I went in for a pick up I placed the order at a certain time and she kept giving me bad service saying it’s the incorrect time even though I showed her my screen shot of the email from their website, she was rude trying to argue. I get you may be busy but don’t tell me my time was for a different time when just because you aren’t paying attention to your orders. I also went in to eat in once and she never bothered to come to the table to ask how we were doing or if we needed any refills. But the other lady with glasses did that’s why I give her a 5 star. It’s never really busy inside eating in from what I notice it’s always take out...

This was a horrible experience! I haven’t ordered from this place in months due to disappointing food but thought I would give it another try. Ordered the beef lo mein and requested beef and veggies in my food due to the last orders only had a few veggies laid on the top and barely any beef. I didn’t want a pan of nothing but noddles. There were about ten pieces of veggies and some sort of grayish meat that was about the size of tortilla chips . I can’t try this place again. I have been disappointed with alll my last orders. Horrible!!!!

EDIT- I’m a disabled senior citizen and only get a check once a month and use it as a monthly pleasure for this order. I ordered this Wednesday and because I have to split it up to make it last I didn’t realize it was wrong. There was no beef, I paid 4.00 for beef. I think you should remake my order and include my beef. 30.00 is a lot for a senior. I wish you would make it correct and add cheesecake for my disappointment. VERY SAD DISABLED...
