Beijing Wok — Restaurant in Allentown

TLDR; There are ethic complaints others made reviewing this restaurant, and I can verify them. They will try to charge you more and give you less, and serve friends first.

I walked in and was standing a few feet from the counter for over 5 minutes, looking at the menu above, waiting to ask questions. Someone else walked in and was served right away.

When I ordered a $5.95 dish, she rang me up as $8.00. I asked and she said that price is for a small. You ASK a customer which size they want then, not charge extra hoping they're not paying attention (it probably works, downtown Allentown is hustle and bustle).

I asked the size difference three times before she got the size, then made a hand gesture saying something about more rice. When I asked "Does that mean the only difference is the large has more rice", she either didn't want to answer, or just didn't understand: I asked the question 4 different ways before she got an attitude and said "Which size do you want?". I said nothing and walked out, being late for class at this point.

I should have just uploaded the overhead menu to Google and paid the amount, and reversed the charge with my bank as a fraudulent charge, citing the listed price. Enough people do this, they will stop trying to take...

This food is absolutely amazing. The best in Allentown!!! Every single time I have ordered here the food always came blazing hot and big portions, I ordered online through their website I didn’t have to go through any other DoorDash/uber service or headache. I actually just called them and told them how amazing the food was!!!! I’m gonna continue to come back and be a loyal customer for life! Whoever said the lady was rude on the phone. She’s about her business!!! Order what you want period she don’t got time to chitchat. I would give this little hidden gem all these...

Horrible service I ordered curry chicken with just little broccoli and little onions but yea they put them veggies but I’m allergic to pepper so I called and explained but yea they lady hang up the phone on me so went back to the restaurant and explain myself again and yea remake the order and look what she gives me nothing but damn broccoli and I called back and she yells at me that I eat chicken so that’s why she didn’t put the chicken like lady how if I bring you the whole thing back and show you but yea Hang up the phone on like who care never going back horrible...
