I was driving from NYC to DC and was craving a sub. Wally's Deli popped up in between the cities so my husband and I decided to give it a try.
My husband got the beast sub and I got the smokey sub. Both of us were very impressed. The bread was soft, the meats were fresh and flavorful, and the veggies that came with it were delicious. We would go back for the subs alone.
However, we looked at their brownies. Before leaving, we ended up getting the peanut butter and chocolate brownie. My husband and I have had plenty of brownies, but my gosh, these were the best ever! Despite the brownies being thick, they are not dense. These brownies literally melt in your mouth. They have a light and soft consistency and pack a lot of delicious flavoring without being overwhelmingly sweet. If I am going to be honest, I will say this place made the bar high for any brownie I get elsewhere, and I doubt other places will compare.
I will definitely come back here when I do another road trip. The staff is very sweet...
Read moreI order a Bacon Egg & Cheese from time to time Here & I was getting annoyed they continuously Cut up the bacon into bits & added it into the eggs. So today I decided to Tell them “if they could Not ADD THE BACON TO THE eggs “. Now when I picked up my sandwich, I do this thing were I remove Layers of eggs Bc they put so much eggs on one roll (WALLYS DELI SPECIFICALLY NEVER HAVE THIS PROBLEM ANY WHERE ELSE) ( but I don’t wanna give them so much orders Bc I have a fear of someone spitting in my food ) but as I was removing the eggs I had a nicely placed hair put across the entire sandwich and I was livid Bc I threw out the entire sandwich; so next time I wanna dine in doors so that “WHEN I DO” wanna remove layers of eggs & I just so happen “To FINDDDDD” another hair placed “INSIDE OF MY SANDWICH” I would gladly like to be there and confront the employee instead of Driving 3 miles away and then finding out. I don’t wanna spend my CASH HERE AGAIN but then again It’s...
Read moreCustomer service was great. Very friendly staff, made us feel welcome but the food was not as good as I had hoped. My husband ordered a cheesesteak which was extremely salty and I ordered a smoked turkey sub that was alright but also slightly salty (possibly because I had it cooked on the grill so maybe it picked up some of the salt or cooking it brought out the salty taste, I'm not sure).
Update: Returned to have same sandwiches remade. Sandwiches were a lot less salty this time(I got honey turkey instead of smoked). Owner seemed a bit perturbed to be remaking the sandwiches even though he was the one who told me to call in to have them remade. Even after the remake sandwiches were just okay in my opinion. A bit better than Wawa but a lot more money. I stopped in here to check it out because of all the reviews, but its very unlikely I...
