RUDE MANAGER
I went tonight (8/19/16) at about 10:30 and ordered a 20 pc nugget and two 4pc nuggets. i ask for them to please be hot. I asked for three different kinds of sauce but was going to be charged for some of them so stuck with a variety of two to dip in. I didn't receive all of my sauce and was given random mild picante sauce. I had to wait for my nuggets (Fine by me) but when they were brought out only 18 nuggets were in the bag. I got home and found that half of the nuggets were so old that they were flattened by dehydration, not hot, and were rubbery. So i called and asked if I could come back. I came up to the drive through with them and asked the woman working the drive through to look at them because I could not believe someone thought that it would be okay to give me these old nuggets. I asked for a refund. They only gave me a refund for the 20 pc but I had returned all of them so I asked for a refund for the two 4 pcs. The manager, Amanda, came to the window and proceeded to treat me like I was an idiot for wanting a refund for all of the old nuggets. She explained that she's watched him take them all from a vat, all 20 of them. I told her that some of them were not old, but most of them were. She proceeded to tell me I'm wrong and that there's no way that they're old. She wanted to talk over me, and didn't want to listen to anything that I had to say. Why would I lie? I wanted to eat those fresh, delicious nuggets, and didn't plan on making another trip to McDonald's. After being a real jerk, she asked if I had returned all 28 nuggets and I said yes. This means she, no one, had looked at how disgusting at least half of my order was, as I had requested. Amanda, "the manager on duty", Left the drive through window open so that I could hear her talking negatively to an employee about me while she was getting the rest if the refund.
I don't understand why the employee preparing the nuggets boxes thought it was okay to put the old ones in the order, especially after I's asked for them to be hot. Maybe the employee did not care, or maybe employee's are under food cost pressure by co-workers/supervisors, and are afraid to throw away old food.
I don't know why the manager working felt like she needed to be so rude and make it seem that I'm the unreasonable one, because I had expected good food and decent service.
The food is also slightly more pricey at both this location and the Saint Louis McDonald's than in...
Read moreYesterday I went through the drive through to get a bottle of water and a large black coffee because I had a very long drive ahead of me. I was trapped in the drive through for almost 30 minutes before I was finally handed my beverages. My coffee did not feel hot. So I pulled forward to check it. It was stone cold. Now I have to get out of the car and go inside for a hot coffee. Where the people that work there handed me a cold coffee 2 more times. By the third time I am starting to lose my temper. The little said that they will brew me a brand new pot and it will take 10mins. That's when I snapped. "I don't have that kind of time, just give me whatever you have that is hot. I needed to be on the highway over a half hour ago now." I put my head down and tried to massage my temples because i was trying to control my rage. Then a third employing (a much older woman) snuck up behind me and started rubbing my right shoulder. She seriously startled me. As a veteran that was in the middle East. I thought I was back there being attacked. I nearly elbowed this old lady in the face. Just gross and unprofessional. Don't put your hands on costumers. I was so furious it took this new fancy high tech McDonald's almost 40 minutes and 4 tries just to serve me 1 cup of hot...
Read moreWent to this location for a 20 piece nugget and large fry with a coke. Went through drive thru. After 20 minutes of waiting I was finally handed a bag of food, no drink, had to ask for my drink. Figured I should check my bag to see if my simple order was filled correctly because every other time I've been to this location my order has been incorrect. Once again it was wrong, and couldn't have been more wrong. I was given two mcdoubles. So now I've got to take more time out of my day to go inside and get the correct food. I go inside only to be ignored by three different people including a manager. I'm holding a bag and a receipt and making eye contact, clearly I have an issue. So after five more minutes of waiting patiently, I decide to speak up, I loudly say can somebody please help me I'd like to leave some time today. The manager turns around and I explain that my order was filled incorrectly. She turns around and hands me the correct bag with no apology, and barely a have a nice day. This location is terrible. Your manager's can't even apologize for mistakes. If I was the owner of this location I'd fire my district manager because clearly they can't execute hiring a...
