Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Alpena

The food is great, this is just a review of the customer service I received.

I live in Oscoda and only get up to Alpena occasionally to food shop. After leaving Meijer I decided to try out online ordering (just after 8pm). The app showed that they closed at 9pm. When I got to there to pick up my sub (approximately 8:15) , the door was locked and the employees were cleaning up and just told me they were closed. I stopped by the next time I was in town and spoke with I assume was the shift manager. I asked if they could just give me the sub I paid for (I had the email confirmation to prove) and the guy said no and he'd have to wait until the day shift came in and talk to them. He took my info and said they'd call me. It's been over 2 weeks and still no phone call or refund. I'll just dispute it with my bank I guess. This would have easily been avoided had the correct hours been on the online...

As a customer, this place was always my favorite sandwich shop so as an employee, I am passionate about working here. The manager does an excellent job at training the employees to do their best and the owner cares deeply about his business.

This place excels at keeping their place clean and offering excellent service to customers. There is no reason to waste your time at Subway. If you're near Subway and you're hungry, just order Jimmy John's for a 2 dollar delivery fee and they'll be there...

Been regular customer for about 4 months. Today I picked up my #5 that I get everytime along with my husband's #8. Being extremely satisfied until today, I hesitate to complain but....My #5 was missing the cheese and my bread was less than acceptable. It was hard on one end and extremely "wet" which was not caused by the dressing. I would have brought it right back but I live 30 + miles away. We purchase at least once a week when I'm in Alpena.
