I've eaten at this particular McDonald's three times since July. Every time I have ordered at this location, it's in the drive-thru, and my order has been wrong every time. I'm NOT talking about ordering something without pickles, and there were pickles on my burger. I'm talking about entire items missing from my bag. Missing burgers, missing fries, etc. The receipt was correct, and I paid for it, but items were missing. Either they have nobody checking for accuracy, or the employee checking accuracy doesn't care. Either way, it's unacceptable. I'm paying for a service, and would expect that for an employee who's getting paid $12+ an hour my order would atleast be accurate. The "Well, you should've checked your own bag to make sure everything was right before you drove away" thoughts are invalid. That doesn't fix the problem. Lastly, these three times were "low-volume" times. There wasn't even a line at the ordering kiosk. Absolutely unacceptable, especially considering all three orders...
Read moreThe Chisholm McDonald's is honestly the best of the 3 in town. The customer service is normally pretty responsive and fast and doesn't normally mess anything up for me. The atmosphere around the restaurant is pretty basic and definitely feels like a McDonald's of modern day, so nothing fun or bright like the older style of the franchise, but its functional and is normally pretty well cleaned. The driveway is rather dangerous due to many people turning in too fast and not paying much attention to their surroundings, or making the last second decision to eat there as they are driving by. Luckily, there is an alleyway behind the building to allow easier and safer exiting or entering to the restaurant if you'd rather, just use caution as its a one lane alley. I genuinely recommend going here if you want McDonalds in Alpena. Its still a McDonalds, but its the better...
Read moreI ordered a spicy crispy chicken with no pickle at the drive thru and they gave me extra pickles and extra sauce as well as re-dropped fries. At first, it's like no biggy. I drive back around and request to have it fixed. To which their response was for the manager to TAKE THE FOOD back through the window and just REHEAT it. The fries were so stale and greesy. The sandwich wasn't any different from when they sent it out the first time. The manager tried to argue with me when I came in to ask for a different sandwich. It would've been fine if they just took the old food and replaced it instead. He went to the back after I informed him I'll be calling the health department in the morning.
