I was hoping our experience was a one-off fluke, but after reading similar recent reviews, it seems this restaurant has habit of treating customers poorly. We visited yesterday for lunch, and I can honestly say I do not remember a restaurant experience with worse service. As many others have stated in their reviews, there were not many other guests in the restaurant during our visit. We ordered bar drinks and appetizers upon arrival, my drink came out promptly however my husbands drink took over 45 minutes to make it to the table. He even went inside to just confirm with our server that he actually ordered something and she was very curt and responded "yeah, I'll bring it when it's ready." It was still at least another 5 or 10 minutes after that it was brought out by who we thought was the manager, although when we alerted her that his drink took over 45 minutes she seemed unbothered. We were often without water refills and had to ask for them multiple times. The food was mediocre, and the server basically ignored our party once our food arrived, she would walk by our table and glance at us, but unless we sought her out, we were not a priority for her at all. My husband ordered a second drink before our food was brought out, and we had time to eat and ask for our checks and it still had not arrived, so he cancelled it, it was still charged to our bill and brought out with the check as we were trying to pay and leave. We were a party of 6 people, and had we felt more welcome and received better service, we would have stayed longer, and spent more on drinks, but by the end of the meal all we wanted was to leave and forget this experience altogether. We frequently dine at Superica and Rumi's Kitchen nearby and consistently have a good experience at both places, we have passed by Branch & Barrel many times with the intention of trying it out, next time we will return to one of the nearby restaurants that appreciate their...

The reason I am giving three stars is that I have had negative experiences with their reservations. A couple of examples:
• I made a reservation for myself and 7 friends for 7:30pm on my birthday. We showed up at 7:25 and were told we would need to wait until 8:30 to be seated as they did not have a table available. This was embarrassing and would have been nice to know before we had arrived. They did give us a couple of appetizers for the inconvenience.
• I made a reservation to grab a post-event drink with coworkers at 10:30PM. B&B’s reservation platform allowed Friday night reservations until 11:30PM and stated they closed at 12:00AM. My 10:30PM reservation was confirmed by the restaurant. We showed up at 10:25PM and were told we could not be seated as they were closing at 11:00PM. I spoke with a manager named Alona about my 10:30PM reservation and she rudely implied I was lying as they do not allow reservations that late? I showed her my reservation confirmation for proof. She was unhelpful and offered no apology or solution. We had to go elsewhere for a drink.

Read moreWe have frequented B&B often and the food and service has been consistently good until last night. Aside from every food item we ordered being off or downright inedible last night, we were greeted by a Sr server Lance and a new employee (as in 3 hrs new) Jade and told they would be attending to us, but that was the last time we saw Lance for the night. We received wrong food items (grilled chicken salad when I wanted a plain Caesar dressing on side not tossed when we requested ketchup on side for kids' burger) as well as correct food items but prepared incorrectly (burger overcooked). As for inedible, the onion soups were so extremely oversalted neither our table nor the table next to us could eat them. I even poured some water from my drinking glass into the soup crock in an attempt to salvage it. All in all, considering the location and price point, we shouldn't have had such a negative experience both food and service-wise. It will be a long while if we return and I definitely think they are going through kitchen and/or service turnover that is affecting quality.
