First time at this location and it will be the last. There wasn’t just an attitude problem, there was food safety issue.
The employees are rude. All of them act as if they don’t want to be there and as if we (the customer) are forcing them to be there. While we were in line, one of the employees behind us didn’t secure the trash bag he was taking out, which proceeded to leak and break all over the floor from the can to the front door all the way to the back.
When he came back out to clean the mess, he propped up a mop against the wall. The mop slid and while it fell, a different employee with food prep gloves on tried to catch it. The mop handle fumbled through his hands and proceeded to fall anyway. Instead of this employee switching out his gloves, he immediately proceeded to turn towards us, grab our 2 food bowls with each hand, and stick his thumbs inside of our bowls, making direct contact with our food. Not wanting to cause a scene, I simply paid for our food, got home and threw the food away.
I went to grab the receipt out of the bag to call customer support and it turns out that same gloved employee didn’t even bother to give us a receipt. This is a brand new location, so I don’t believe these are disgruntled employees. They’re just improperly trained employees who don’t care about their job like they should. Huge food safety concern on top of their attitude. Oh, and the spilled trash juice on the floor? They didn’t even bother to put out a Wet Floor sign before we left. I had to walk behind my wife on the way out to make sure if she slipped, I could catch her. It was that wet.
Given the fact that this is a brand-new Chipotle location in Alpharetta and not some Taco Bell in Atlanta, we expected better. Also, I contacted Chipotle’s customer support, and got the same email reply back-to-back, which means their support staff aren’t even reading the complaints.
Avoid Brookside Pkwy Chipotle, people.
Edit: “It's chipotle. There are teenagers working here. They act like teenagers because they are teenagers” is not an excuse to be rude to customers and fail to keep food safety standards intact. Doesn’t matter if you’re paying $8 or $80, nobody should be getting food that an employee stuck their dirty gloves in. That’s...
Read moreMultiple times at this chipotle, the staff have been rude and underhanded to me. As a former chipotle employee I know how Chipotle’s are supposed to be run, and this location is terrible. I ordered a large steak quesadilla and was told that they do not serve this. I served this to customers for years and when I told them they could charge me for a burrito if they had to, the line cook began making my order. Then his manager whispered something in his ear and he reached for the kid sized tortilla after I had just explicitly told them that it wasn’t what I wanted. I ordered a large quesadilla. I was told they do not do this. I would understand not wanting to hold up the line for a large quesadilla order if they were super busy, but there was nobody in line except for me, and the staff were rude saying comments like well if you don’t like it then you can order online. When I told the server that’s not what I ordered, he looked at me frustrated and said well then what do you want in a rude demanding tone. When I worked at chipotle we were told to never speak to the customer this way… It seems like chipotle has gone downhill since I used to work there. They were u willing to compromise with me, and they didn’t do anything to try and accommodate me. I will not be going to this location again, and I hope they find some better staff that are trained to treat customers with respect. I did not order anything as they would not fulfill my request, so I cannot speak to the quality of their food this visit, but I did have it in the past and it was decent, but not the best compared to other chipotles I have been to. It’s a shame about the service because this is the closest chipotle to me. If good service and clean tables are important to you at a restaurant, do...
Read moreMe and my friend had a miscommunication and my friend went to the drive-thru pick up lane thinking I put in an online order. At first, there was this brunette employee who just got my name and disappeared then this other guy came over and just stared at us at first and had a pretty annoyed tone the whole time. He said he didn’t see any orders under my name and when I realized there was a miscommunication between me and my friend, I immediately put in an online order. When I received my order after a few minutes, I asked if they had chipotle sauce as I somehow thought that was a thing. Instead of kindly saying “hey no we don’t have chipotle sauce but we do offer/have this,” this other brunette guy just looked at me like I said something insane and said he doesn’t know what I’m talking about. Even my friend said she didn’t like their attitude and I should probably leave a review. I’m usually generous about workers’ attitude since I understand they are exhausted from working long shifts. So I decided to let things slide since people can’t always provide the best customer service. However, when I got home and unwrapped my burrito, I was genuinely pissed. The guacamole was smeared everywhere and the burrito was atrociously distorted. The portions were bad and I couldn’t even pick it up without it falling apart, which spilled and stained all over my favorite sweatpants. These employees couldn’t do ONE JOB. Like whoever made that thing really looked at that distorted burrito and thought it was good to go lol. If y’all can’t be nice to customers then at least make the burrito right. Also I paid for queso and I’m pretty sure they didn’t even include it. Almost feels like I got scammed. Very unpleasant and infuriating experience and I am never coming...
