Okay this is a kind of a difficult review because some of it was fantastic and some of it were terrible. So the fantastic was my sandwich when I finally got a correct one. More to come on. That. Was excellent. I've been needing schlotzsky's for 50 years. Started back in Texas and high school. And the sandwich brought back all his memories and was just as good if not better than the original. So thank you for that. The atmosphere I enjoy the restaurants, upbeat, open and very clean. Now the part that really hard to say but the outcome was okay. Being as the kitchen is open as you can see in the picture, I could see the person making my sandwich at schlotzsky's. The bread and the meat goes through a rotisserie type of them like a Burger King. So the cook puts the product in the back and it what goes through and they wait for it to get heated up toasted. While they were wearing gloves at the build station, that person pulls out their cell phone, either text or since the head earbuds in change the music or whatever, but they fiddled with their phone for the entire time that the bread and me is going through the oven. Then is it finished the cooking? They put the phone down. Don't change the gloves and then proceed to pick up the shredded lettuce. Pick up the tomatoes, pick up the meat and put it on my sandwich and also with some condiments. Then hold the bread between their hands and cut it in half and then wrap it up and then walk over to me and smile and say here's your sandwich. So I asked to speak to the manager and the general manager came over. Tony was his name and I explained to him about the open concept in the way that I was able to watch this person handling their very dirty cell phone then making my sandwich. He just kind of looked at me. Like what was he going to do so I just hand that in my bag of sandwich and I said I'm not eating this and let him make the decision because I will see if they're going to walk out with nothing and he said oh well let me make you a sandwich myself. So he proceeded to go wash his hands, put on gloves, make the sandwich perfectly and out the door. I went. So it was a bad experience, but Tony did to save the day and the sandwich that he made for me was wonderful. So I'm sure they'll be no problems. If you come by, you'll get a great sandwich and I'm sure that those people have been in bondished and went corrected their ways.

This was the best sandwich shop experience I've had in the last decade. We walked in and were immediately greeted with a friendly "hello" and the smell of fresh baked cookies. My wife had significant questions about the gluten free options which weren't answered by the online menu so they accessed the boxes the products come in to ensure there were no wheat products. Our food was fantastic, completely worth the price and then some! They also have a great rewards program you can sign up for. My wife's gluten-free soup came with garlic bread on the side that I wanted and they ensured it came out on a separate tray so there was no contamination. The sweet tea was gold peak and the lemonade is fresh, hard to complain about that.. They completely just went above and beyond every step of the way and followed it up with great food. I can't recommend this restaurant enough.

Visited the drive thru around lunch time so was expecting a bit of a delay in service. There were only a couple of cars in line so thought I may have gotten lucky. Unfortunately 15 mins later I realized that was mistaken….the service was VERY slow. Then when I finally received my sandwich and drove away, I check and see that I was given the wrong sandwich! 🙄😞 I return and walk inside this time only to see part of the issue. The place seemed very short staffed with basically 2 people servicing sandwiches for online orders, drive thru and the customers walking in at lunch. Another 15 min wait for me to get the right sandwich this time. Anyway the turkey club sandwich was actually good. The chips were very salty so wouldn’t suggest the combo. I like Schlotzsky’s sandwiches but wouldn’t recommend visiting this location unless you have time to spare.

On Feb 28, 2021 my boyfriend and i drove 25 minutes to this location, as the service had always been average, i didn’t mind. This time, was entirely different and i can guarantee not just this location is losing my business but this franchise chain is losing us as a customer for good. We pulled into the drive through at 7:40, immediately got asked what we wanted to order; great. Then we say please give us one second so we can figure it out. Less then 30 seconds go by, and we said okay hello? no answer. so we gave it a minute thinking maybe they were busy and short staffed or something. we both have worked in the food industry so we get it. Another 3 minutes go by and we kept saying hello, still no answer, so we pull up to the window. After waiting at the window, Dealia or Delia, ignored us entirely. window open, we kept saying hello, then she proceeded to ignore us and take the persons order who was at the drive thru speaker after us. At this point again, 7 minutes since we arrived and still had yet to be acknowledged, in the DRIVE THROUGH. Then someone who has only been working there name Jamelya for only a month, was pulled aside by delia, knowing she was ignoring us, whispered into jamelyas ear something as jamelya is looking at us, and then jamelya put the mop down, right she was mopping might i add, didn’t wash hands, but walked over to us and said “can i help you all?” at this point, we had been in line for 9 minutes. We were furious and didn’t want food any longer after being ignored passively by delia. I would highly recommend making some changes there so you don’t lose more consistent business...

Dining area is still close (I’ll come back to that). Had to go through drive through. Mic on drive through was nearly unintelligible so ordering was frustrating. Ordered two combo meals and 2 pack of Cinnabons. They had to check if they still had any at 3:30pm. Received order. Rootbeer was flat so had to drive back. Knocked on door, guy inside at seating area sat there and watched me while he ate - I assume he was on break. Finally got replacement drinks - not original request. 15 mins later, got back to car and told son he should eat while it was hot and then also discovered several hundred yards down the road they hadn’t put Cinnabon ($6.99 2-pack) in the bag either. When I went back, no one would answer the door so had to stand in the drive through. Told the staff that it had not been a great experience and mentioned the staff eating inside could have been more helpful (both times I had to come back), he instead of just saying sorry I hope we can make it better, he tried to ramble off a bunch of excuses, including the guy inside didn’t help because he was a customer (see above comment). One of the sandwiches was decent (#7) other pretty lackluster (#6).

Strongly recommend the company or franchisee monitor the staff and service levels at this location. Lots of options - Popeyes and McDonalds on both sides - and a plethora of others just down the street.

Disappointed to...
