I generally don’t post reviews, but our experience last night requires it. We love Culver’s food quality even if it is a bit more expensive than other fast food restaurants. Took the grandkids to their favorite restaurant, Culver’s, which we eat at 2-3 times a month. Before ordering our meals, I took our grandson to the bathroom, which was a huge disappointment. Paper towel all over the place overflowing the trashcan floor, dirty, toilet seat and filthy bowl, inside and out. My wife had our granddaughter in the women’s room changing her which was difficult as the changing table was sprung, and the baby was falling off. My wife had to hold it up with her knee. We typically go to four different Culver’s depending on where we are in the city. This is the least maintained of all of them. Even the front entrance sidewalk is filthy dirty with grease.
My wife took the grandkids to find a table while I finished paying for our food. I found her after she looked through the whole restaurant for a clean table. All but a couple were dirty. She informed the people at the front counter of the condition of the tables and also that there were no ketchup cups to be had. They gave her some takeout ketchup, and turned away. A young lady came out, walked through the restaurant and cleaned one or two tables, that’s all. We were one of two groups of people in the entire restaurant, and most all the tables were dirty, even after she supposedly cleaned them. There were plenty of staff hanging around, but apparently cleaning and maintaining their restaurant is not a real high priority.
Upon receiving our food at the table by a very unhappy employee, we discovered part of our order missing. Back up to the service counter for the rest of our meal. How hard can it be when there’s only two groups of people in the restaurant? My wife’s cod dinner and my fried onion rings appeared to have been previously cooked and then cooked again for our meals. They were both dried out, almost burnt. Order issues apparently are part of the culture at this location since we had a issue just the prior week with an allergy specific item that was put on a burger that if undiscovered would have resulted in a trip to the emergency room.
Comstock Park Culver’s, please address these issues. Unfortunately for us we will now be frequenting Greenville, Rockford and Wyomings Culver’s where we can count on better food quality, service and...
Read moreCulver's is definitely a favorite of my husband and I. We don't go much, as it is out of our way, but when we do, man the food is good! It's always hot and fresh, and we are never missing anything from our order. Great customer service, and the people who work there always seem at least somewhat excited to be at their job.
If you go on their website, it says that it will take them around 5-6 minutes to make your food, as it is made to order. I've written to attest that this is in fact true. If you are going to complain about getting your order fresh, then that's on you! They constantly have people coming in and out of that place, whether it's dine in or take out. The wait is never long, unless you order lots of food. Best be assured that you will always receive your order with exquisite customer service and a rumbling stomach! I cannot even wait until I get home to start eating most of the time, and that, to me, is a sign of a great restaurant. It's literally diner quality food served from a fast-food place.
My husband got the four piece chicken tender. Of course, I had to snag a bite of that. He agreed with me when I said that the chicken was hot, crispy, juicy, and you get a large portion. He is not a big eater, so this filled him up pleasantly well for the money that was spent. He also requested a side of BBQ sauce, which is Sweet Baby Ray's brand! Delicious.
I got the double Wisconsin Swiss Melt, and a side of beef gravy for dipping. Seriously, if you have never had your Culver's burger with a side of beef gravy, you are missing out! The burger was enormous, and definitely extra cheesy. The gravy was a thick sauce-like substance, and it was absolutely delicious. And as stated earlier, the food was hot and fresh. 10/10 experience for sure. We will...
Read moreAmazing My first encounter with Culvers.Colorado has a Culvers but never dared to try. I am amazed on how come I never tried this place before. But the service at This Culvers made this place., not just a fast food joint. The Cod fish sandwich was the best tasting fish I have had in years. But the service! Was the best I have encountered across the United States. When I walked into the door a smiling happy cashier by the name of Lyssa greeted us with a smile from ear to ear. She was knowledgeable on the menu and gave me ideas and options on sides. When we sat down after paying she brought us our food and asked if we needed anything like ketchup or other condiments. She brought us napkins after over hearing someone say they needed one. Very observant. After eating and enjoying our meal. A young gentleman by the name of kyle also came over askin how our meal was and if we need anything at all let him know. This is a fast food restaurant with high quality Restaurant service. Alyssa should be in a 5 star dining place to Truely show off her amazing and exceptional...
