Empire Buffet II — Restaurant in Alpine Township

I never really post reviews but felt I needed to at this place!! When I first came in I didn’t notice anything bad at first so I had 2 plates onto my 3rd plate I had the “schezuan chicken” it tasted ROTTEN while also being extremely cold, I decided to just get desert instead and to my surprise there was HUNDREDS OF FLIES ALL OVER THE FOOD AND THEY EVEN TRAPPED ATLEAST 50 OF THEM INTO ONE OF THE DESERTS! I even have 2 videos of the flies inside of the deserts immediately I was disgusted and just wanted to leave realizing I had just ate 2 plates of food. Not only this but all the food was mainly cold or didn’t taste very good but the Schezuan chicken was definitely rotten. I went to leave and let the lady at the front know about the flies and asked if I could just leave or atleast get a discount she had the audacity to tell me the best they could do was 10% off and argued a little bit so I just paid so I could leave. It’s been 3 hours now since I went there and my stomach feels HORRIBLE I do NOT recommend in the slightest. I’m surprised they are even still open...

Me and my best friend have gone to this place since I was 17 years old. It used to be so amazing! As the years have gone by, the food has been getting worse, the food is cold come 8pm and they don’t close until 10-11pm. The last we had today serving us tonight was eating her own plate, licking her fingers and then delivered my food to me. I asked the owner when was there going to be fresh sweet and sour chicken and she brought me a plate and had an attitude! The place just isn’t what it used to be. Our waitress tonight sounded like she was sick and then I saw the waitress putting a wrap in a bucket of water, ring it out, clean the doors by the kitchen and then wipe down the buffet. Then put the rag back in the bucket, rang it out and cleaned tables. Lord only knows what’s on those doors and lord only knows how often they use clean water to wipe down tables. This place has great food! I moved almost an hour away and whenever we are in town we get take out. I also never really write reviews. Especially not bad ones! We ordered our food and were told 15 mins. I get there and it was busy so that I completely understand. All the takeout orders are being filled. After waiting about 35 mins still no order. I get called to the front finally! The front claims my orders ready I pay and get my usual pink lemonade to go. Then after running my payment they tell me to sit down. I waited 50 mins for my take out order. The front claimed the cook forgot to make our meals. It was just a shady to run my payment and not have my food ready. I also informed them I would have left if my card didn’t get ran. Just seems very shady the way they went about taking my payment claiming my food was ready.
