I took a working laptop with broke screen to this place,.. result, was a non-working device and total loss could not even recover anything from device they messed it up I let it go but lost a working device all they could say was sorry so caution others on taking device ther if they mess it up your loss not theirs my device was usable with the cracked screen instead of asking me for charger I'm sure the hooked it up to wrong charger and blew it up asked me for correct charger after they blew it up so they send this reply saying sorry for my experience what can they do to make it better,.. I call , they tell me you ordered your device recycled! The truth is they told me was a total loss so why am I going out of my way to pick up something you destroyed so the end of this is the same they screw up your device they just say sorry only reason I called was to finish this review but would like to add if you fall victim to this place or any other, realize, that there post, 'of how can we make this better" is now a standard practice of business appears to others reading like they must be great but, if you have the time you could always take them to small claims court and win just a matter of is it...
Read moreI called into this store and told them what my phone was doing and that I had ins through att. I have nevwr had to have a phone fixed before so this was all new to me. I was given a cost of the screen and one for my other phone as well. I was told they could take care of it and to bring it in. So I did. When I went to pick it up two different guys were there. One went to the computer and asked if I'd be paying cash or card. I figured a deductible. I said card, almost immediately after I tapped my card, the other guy spoke up and asked me about my ins. I said yes I have it through Att. He said it should have been free. I asked him well how do we do that he said I had to make a claim. I asked if we could refund and make the claim and how long it would take. He said about 15 mins. But we can not do anything now you have already been rung through and it's a finished repair. The guy at the computer did something else and the other guy went over to the computer and took over he verified my email address and emailed me my receipt. I have since been on the phone making several calls trying to get to the bottom of this. And trying to get at least some of my money back. This is not good customer...

I'll add this. Even though its a chain. They've got my business. I will always refuse to go to a Geeksquad or any other corporate business due to the lack of knowledge and lack of care they have for the customers they serve. The fact that most try to push stuff on you that you don't need, and unfortunately never really fix your issue.
