El Tio Chuy — Restaurant in Altamont

Tasty, fresh food! We stopped in Klamath Falls for a couple of days on our way back from Crater Lake and had dinner here on our first night since it was walking distance from our hotel. The food was amazing! It was all freshly made, with high quality ingredients and served piping hot to our table. The fish tacos were some of the best we’ve ever had and we even ordered an extra side of the refried beans because they were so good (Really? Refried beans? Yes!). Oh, and the Fried Ice Cream is so rich and decadent… and totally worth it. The service is friendly, prompt and professional; everyone we met was extremely nice. Beyond the food, what makes this place stand out is the warmth of the owners. They make it a point to come by and say hi, which makes every visit feel personal and welcoming.
