We discovered this place about a month ago. Our initial experience was such that we decided to make it a weekly thing, despite it being a 30 minute drive after a 12 hour work day. Tonight, we arrived 10 minutes before closing. We were relieved to see another vehicle in the line. We were prepared to find an alternative if we were too late. We placed our usual order. All was well until I mentioned that my banana split didn’t have the chocolate chips that I had substituted for the peanuts. At that point, the worker condescendingly told us that we would need to come earlier next time and that she would not have served us. She audibly told the other worker that we should have been charged extra for the chocolate chips substitution. At nearly 50 years old, I do not expect to be spoken to like a child in trouble when I attempt to give business to a local business. We have been intentional about spending our money locally, but we have no problem having our favorite ice cream shipped from Texas as we have previously done. When I spend nearly $30 on two bananas splits with mediocre ice cream, I expect gratitude rather than condescension. Our business will be...
Read moreWhat an awesome little ice cream shop - Klamath Falls needs more places like these! The ice cream sandwiches are absolutely incredible, along with all the ice cream/toppings they have. The staff was very friendly, and what appeared to be the owner even asked how everyone was doing. You can tell this is a business who cares about their staff/customers - we will definitely be back!
UPDATE - We went back to their new location (with a drive-thru!) and it did NOT disappoint! 🤤 🍦 my daughter got a strawberry smoothie w/ strawberry boba, my son got their rainbow sherbet topped w/chocolate rocks, and my banana split was incredible!! 🍌 strawberry cheesecake ice cream, cookies & cream ice cream, and rocky road 🤤 with alllll the toppings! This is definitely going to become a...
Read moreI'm sorry for not replying back sooner. I just read your comment. Here is a picture of my two scoops on a cone. I thought, why ask if I want a cone or bowl, if you're just going to shove the cone in a bowl. Then there's the three scoops instead of two. We left thinking, oh they're nice, they just don't listen. I honestly got the impression they were either the owners children or they simply have no concept of what the long term consequences are in giving your product away...one scoop at a time. By the time we made it out, we weren't going to come back. It wasn't the best ice cream but the over nicety is what made this a stop we wished we didn't make. That being said, I appreciate you asking and hope your business only gets...
