Came here this morning, I come here every morning since the location I am used to is too far for me now.
I ordered an iced latte with whole milk. However my coffee tasted like straight up MILK. I go back inside and asked the barista who Iâve never seen here yet to remake it for me. Instead she tells me that âshe can add another shot of expressoâ. I asked for it to be remade, not to add another shot. Which is what I said. I donât have time to keep bickering back with baristas so of course they donât remake it and empty out milk and add more expresso anyways. In result tastes like milk still.
This is the second time I come here out of the many and one of the baristas tries to âcorrect meâ instead of simply remaking the coffee I originally paid for. How are you going to correct me about something I order every single day? I am just confused how this is the service one can get when they simply want something remade. If youâre a buying customer, you should be able to get what you ordered, itâs simple. The other two baristas who I see on a daily basis here didnât even bother to chime in and help her, help me. Is there some type of penalty for having a drink remade? Does it affect you as a worker negatively? I donât understand. That is how disconnected the whole team is here. I didnât catch her name but it was around 8 AM when I received this service.
On top of this, Iâve been putting up with it thinking that they can get super busy but I havenât been greeted much or even told âthank youâ when handed a drink. I find myself having to be the one to say âthank you or appreciate it, etcâ. I think thats extremely rude considering that I am buying from this location. Just adds on to the next issue I have with certain baristas here who find it more convenient to âcorrectâ the customer instead of showing empathy and remaking it like any other location or coffee business would.
Foxtail has been branching out their locations and thats great news for me, but if you want to keep customers you need kinder workers who can accept that they sometimes make mistakes.
Better attitudes...
Read moreFoxtail Coffee has a great aesthetic. The most striking thing to me was the cleanliness and the aesthetic of the restroom. Considering coffeeâs quality of being a natural diuretic, you may find yourself here. However, the star of the show should be the coffee, not the aesthetic. The coffee was just okay. We ordered the flight of Cold Brew (Original, Ethiopian, & Vanilla Caramel), a double shot, and both drips (Guatemalan & Ethiopian). The espresso they were pulling was a âfarmhouse blend.â It was sour at the top, okay in the middle, and super dry at the end. Not sure if they knew what origins are in their blend. Out of the flight: the original tasted super mild, which might be appealing to some, but it was a bit watery to me. The Ethiopian was great, smooth and silky mouthfeel. The Vanilla Caramel was terrible... like sooo bad. I could put it on my pancakes it was so sweet. The flight comes at slightly below room temperature, not cold lol. When you serve cold brew at room temp, you experience it in its worst light IMO. The Guatemalan drip was every coffee youâve ever had, so if you just want coffee, this is the one. The Ethiopian drip was actually very enjoyable and had the natural sweetness you should be looking for in a cup of coffee. Overall, Their aesthetic is better than the coffee, but itâs not bad. Iâd come here again and order the Ethiopian varieties they serve, cause...

Today was my first time ever trying Foxtail and I was surprised. We started out a little bumpy but itâs only because I joined the drive through line too soon after making the order. (I have the same problem with Starbucks- - my bad). I know it takes a bit but w.e I never complain about wait time because I care more about the quality. And let me tell you, my order? QUALITY. The coffee? Absolutely scrumptious, its been a few hours and I've been sipping because I donât want to finish it. I always order extra espresso to add because most of the time coffee at other places are lacking in the coffee to milk ratio but I LITERALLY did that need it. The latte was one for the books. For the sandwhich⌠It may have been my mistake because the online ordering confused me a bit but the sandwhich looked like it had bacon, egg and cheese on the picture but I only received egg and cheese. HOWEVER, I will say that it was the YUMMIEST bagel sandwich I have ever had. Dunkin couldnât even try to compare. Thick, fluffy and FRESH. Lord. Salivating just thinking of it again. And the cream cheese, đ§âđłđ . Usually cream cheese has a weird after taste but NOT THIS ONE. Oof. Absolutely delicious and I WILL be back. Especially to try the sandwich with bacon next time.
Yours...
