So this is a mixed review. I wanted to start off with I'm pregnant and of course the restaurant didn't know this which is fine but what was not fine was that I placed my order at 1pm, at 1:24pm the owner/manager (not quite sure who the gentleman was) called me to let me know that we were out of their delivery area... okay no problem... he proceeded to tell me that he would put the order in anyways (honor it this time around) and have his "nephew" deliver it to us because he was coming into work, if we wanted to order in the future that it would be best to order from a 3rd party delivery service and that Grubhub was probably the best one because they have their own pizza delivery bags which will keep the food hot. Okay fine. So, 2pm rolls around and I decide to give them a call, the same gentleman answers and lets me know that the food was already out for delivery...cool. Then 2:30 rolls around and I had a co-worker call because I was on the verge of passing out, I was so hungry and I don't know who spoke with her but they said that the delivery guy had been out for the past 20 minutes and because we were out of their area he was probably stuck in traffic. We are exactly 3.8 miles away from them and it takes me less than 15 minutes to drive up to where the restaurant is. But okay fine I get that they were trying to do me a favor and I appreciate that I really do. The nephew calls me 4 times (completely unprofessional lingo used during these interactions) because he has no idea where we were located. I had ordered to food to my job and it really isn't that difficult to find us but this kid was lost for what seemed like forever. We got our food by 3 and our pizza was ice cold (no pizza bag or anything) the only thing that I will say was that the food was OKAY which annoys me because i'm sure it would of been great if it was still hot. The mozzarella sticks were hard in the middle, the pizza fries were cold that we had to cut them apart, I didn't even eat the pizza because I didn't want to have to microwave it and the wings were lukewarm (probably the best part of the meal...... go with mild stay away from the...
Read moreI would give this place 0 stars if I could. Absolutely disgusting pizza, swimming in grease. My fiancée called to place the order, all he could hear was someone saying they were really busy and come get these pizzas, then someone else got on the phone to actually take the order. We were told it would be ready in 30 mins and still had to wait another 15-20 mins for the pizza once we got there. I get it's NY style pizza it is supposed to be greasy, but this was literally puddles of grease all over the pizza. I picked up a slice to try and eat it, all the toppings slid off and I could actually see through the slice, it was so greasy!!! The garlic knots don't actually have real garlic on them, just garlic powder. Just like the Margherita pizza is basically a plain cheese pizza with tomato slices tossed on it and dried basil sprinkled all over it.
Really wanted to like this place and gave it several chances, but ugh, no more. Save your money and go to one of the many other Italian restaurants...
Read moreI've tried every pizza place around the area. Most of everything around is a chain. Those restaurants feed the need but not the pizza soul. I've driven by the place before and I'm always curious about a new pizza experience. Looking at the website I wasn't sure what to expect. I decided to be bold and go with the Extra Large. So many places have an XL that is nothing more than a Large that is woefully inadequate. I ordered a Supreme and add an order of wings. Their XL is what an XL should be. I think they said 20". Had to fold the slices to eat it. I recognized all the toppings (didn't have to play a guessing game) and enjoyed the pizza nirvana that followed. The wings were good and not fatty. They were not giant wings but I didn't feel ripped off. Let's face it, it is hard to find a good pie and wing spot. Great customer service experience too. I would highly recommend trying it. I've found my family's new pizza spot! My pizza soul is fat and...
