Broadway Ristorante & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Altamonte Springs

Broadway pizza in Maitland is Amazing! AND, I SHOULD ADD: The Broadway Pizzeria I am referring to is in Maitland, FL, tucked into a small corner of a wide, 1/2 triangle sort of complex. There's Walgreens directly across the street at the light. There may be a few locations now, but this is the only one I'm certain of. That being said, there are SEVERAL look-alikes/sound-alikes....all claiming to be family-owned, mom-n-pop style Broadway Pizza Restaurants. Which may be true, hey, I wouldn't know. My dollars are already considered spent at the 'Seminole Co Pizza Masters': BROADWAY PIZZA. There are a few establishments that have gotten somewhat of a hustle going on....mighty fine at pulling your leg for a quick buck..."been 'here since 1627, n still going strong! Yep, just this 1 spot here, staying local, 'know what I'm sayin'? " Lots of these folks have on cowboy boots, leather jackets, maybe smoking a cigar or spittin' into an old beer bottle next to their dirty, old rocking chair outside their " restaurant". You can probably mark off the red flags as they talk: # 1, 2 ,3, 4, 5, & 6. Also, rest be sure that this is NOT the correct BROADWAY! It's pretty competitive in these parts to find a TRULY, ITALIAN FED N BREAD' PIZZERIA....authenticity, originality, pride, & humility... Sounds easy for a Pizza shop.

Make sure you get to THIS location, I believe they had succumbed to the depths of offering delivery thru Uber Eats. Well, sorry Uber. In this case, you're gonna pick it up n take out,curbside delivery, or....get this, I know it's a hard concept to swallow...... This pizza place OFFERS Delivery! It arrives on time, steaming hot, delicious, &- this is the kicker- exactly the way you ordered it!!! Put your hard earned cash into a locally grown n operated business, right in your neighborhood! As for the food....they are 5 stars take out Italian for the whole fam, or party, sporting event, picnic, date night...you name it, you'll find something for the occasion at Broadway. For starters, their pizza is cut with huge slices..I'm a-1-n-done-r! Cheesecake, cheesecake calzones, garlic knots, amazing salads, breads, and even the wine&dessert menu go on and on (and worth every second you spent contemplating, and every dollar you were magically convinced to put towards their BEST KEPT SECRETS!!! ... Promising to be the only location on the...

I will start off by saying that we order Broadway for delivery a few times a month, and are always very pleased with the quality of the food. We live about 15 minutes away.

I always say a place can’t get better without feedback, so here it goes…Tonight I ordered two of the exact same dishes (Romano Chicken), with no modifications, and two cannolis for delivery through their ordering platform, not Uber eats. Order was placed around 7pm, and scheduled to be delivered just after 8pm. The food did not get delivered until 8:30pm, and it was missing an entire entree. The lady who delivered was extremely nice and offered a refund or for her to go back to the store and get it for me. I still needed to eat so I asked for my meal to still be delivered, and she happily agreed and said she would call me on her way back. When we opened the meal that was delivered, the piece of chicken was tiny so I called the restaurant to see if they can send another piece (that we were willing to pay for) with the order they are still bringing. I was then told sure, but your order will take longer to get to you because we need to make it and we’re behind on orders. Working in the hospitality industry myself, my response would have been “absolutely, and the extra piece of chicken is on us for the mistake. Our apologies again.” And I would have gotten in that kitchen to let the chef know I needed it on the fly with the order sitting under the heat lamp. I told her never mind and I would just like my food asap. The delivery driver called me again when she was on her way, and I finally got my meal around 9:30pm, almost two and a half hours after I ordered. She did make a comment “and it’s still hot!” Confirming that it was not remade and I had the same dish that was made 2 hours prior and likely sitting under a heat lamp. Still no free item, gift card, or refund offered, just my meal that was an hour later than the other. When I opened it, the chicken was incredibly soggy, and not nearly as good as the other times I’ve had this dish. Pieces of pasta that were not coated in the sauce were extremely dry on the edges. My recommendation is for the expo to verify the order, whoever is packing up to gos to check, and have the delivery person do a final check before they leave...

UPDATE: because this place has been amazing to me and my family with the food I did order again and told the one young kid I forgot his name sorry lol however I told him what happened and showed him the pictures with that being said he agreed that it wasn’t acceptable and made sure to offer me another one on the house whenever I am ready for it. ☺️ With that being said I didn’t let one disappointment interfere with the fact that I love this place.

After spoiling me with the best pizza since moving to Florida from up north this place became my favorite late night pizza joint, but tonight's pizza was just terrible 😣😫

Anytime After receiving my food i always sit in the parking lot watching shows on my phone for a few because the food from day one has always been to good to wait to drive home (lakemary)

however i’m so glad that’s my routine as I would’ve been really upset had i decided to wait until I got home to eat as this place is not down the street for me.

Tonight not sure if it was new cooks or not enough supplies or maybe just over it tonight (tired) 🤷🏽‍♀️🤔

But My pizza looked and tasted like frozen store bought pizza🥺 The crust was barely baked through, the sauce was tasteless and barely covered the pie 😔

I hate complaining and asking for a redo of my food as i fear my new order of food will be tampered with in the worse way for complaining 😖

NOT saying that this place is known for that however SM shows a lot of those things happening and ya just never know 🤷🏽‍♀️

Anyways besides the pizza tonight THE LEMON PEPPER WINGS ARE THE SH*T!!! ☺️☺️ Still my favorite and the Broadway bites…. 🥰and the ravioli thingys🥰 TO DIE FOR 🥰 always a good comfort food choice!

I really didn’t want to give this place less than five stars as it’s been nothing but a five star visit 🙃 But Tonights pizza was more of a four star but everything else I ordered was perfect🖤 Wish it was maybe a 4.5 star option 🤷🏽‍♀️

however tonight I was really in need of the best comfort food 😔 (buried one of the most important part of my heart last week😔💔) and was a bit disappointed that my comfort food with the pizza was not a good choice tonight….Sorry for complaining 😔
