In honor of National Hamburger day, I ventured to BurgerFi for the $5 deal. After a brief wait I was greeted by Sam, who told me they had no turkey but the $5 dollar original, I added fries, and a drink. I went to make my selection and no lemonade, so I could not make an Arnold Palmer. I picked a lite lemon mellow yellow, grabbed three times and did not find a right lid. I then moved to the ketchup dispenser, first two nothing so I went to the counter and asked for packets. The nice young man handed me a handful. I went back to the lids and finally found one to fit.
I found a table and took a sip of my drink it was not good. I went to the machine close to me poured it out and tried another concoction. This time I tried the Powerade and it was okay. Shortly thereafter Sam was coming out with my order on the tray. The food looks inviting and I took and cut the sandwich in half and bit into a fry. The fries could have been crispier although they were fair. The burger was good although I don't usually have cheese on burgers, but it was $5. I was interested in reading my book and enjoying the meal.
As I finished a bubbly young lady, named Madison came to my table to ask about my experience and to take my tray. I shared my displeasure with the fries lack of crispness and the burger status. Madison, apologized and offered some suggestions for my next visit. Then Madison extended her service to ask if would like some custard to help me to happy. It was a turnaround from a less than stellar visit, thanks to Madison for helping to save the day at BurgerFi! Great service from Mighty Madison...
Read moreLove this Burger Fi Altamonte location way more than the Lake Mary location. Always well maintained, clean and they provide great and friendly service. There has not been one time where I was not greeted upon entering.
Be ready to fork over about $20 to 25 per person since most options are a la carte, however last time I came, I believe I saw “combo meals” on their menu- which earns them some serious brownie points, because at times when I have craved BurgerFi, I’ve busted a u-turn and have headed to MCDs for a burger (although it’s no where near the best quality) So I’m glad to see they’re implementing a new menu.
I always recommend the parm fries with truffle aioli and the birthday shake. 🤤 Only one time was I given a shake here that did not taste right, and it was the sprinkles not the actual shake base. I told the staff during my last visit and she said stated, if I ever have any issues just call and they would comp me on the next visit. Although she was unable to rectify the previous problem; I appreciated her willingness to fix the situation should it happen again.. which it hasn’t.
Definitely think upper management / owners needs to revamp the rewards program, as it is kind of a joke, it would take you spending about $25 per visit, eight times to get a “freebie” - so spend $200+ to get rewarded a $7 shake; just doesn’t add up.
Other than their rewards program needing some help and not enough parking spaces, I would recommend this location and their food to anyone....
Read moreI think I'm going to have to stop going to BurgerFi for a while. The last two times I went were not pleasant experiences.
A couple of weeks ago, I decided to try their Fi on the Fly (online ordering) service to save time. Not only did it take twice as long for me to get my food, but they also forgot parts of my order. Thankfully I checked before I left, but then I had to wait in line for someone to correct it. They also forgot to give me the drink I ordered and when I told the guy at the counter, his response was, "yeah." Not the greatest customer service. The burger was sloppy and the fries were burnt.
Then a week ago, I decided to give BurgerFi another shot. This time I just went inside to order. I wasn't a busy evening, but it took forever for the food to come. I must have waited close to an hour before my order was ready. While I waited, about six or seven people came back up to the counter because their orders were wrong. I felt bad for the woman at the counter who had to put in new orders for the kitchen. Seriously, half a dozen people were given the wrong orders. When I finally go my food, once again the burger was sloppy and half cooked. The fries were terrible. At this point I was already home and was not going back.
I've never had a problem with BurgerFi, but lately their customer service and the quality of the food has gone way down. I don't think I'll be going back...
