CJ's Juicery — Restaurant in Alton

I was introduced to CJ's Juicery by a friend who knows I love Boba. There are a lot of great Boba tea combinations available. I really enjoyed their Strawberry matcha and Lavender chamomille. I've been back several times, and recently tried their smoothie bowls. Mango Tango is my absolute favorite. You can tell the fruit is fresh.

For the beginning of summer, I did the 3 day Juice Cleanse. I was able to easily order on their website. The juices were ready the next day at the time promised. My favorite was Strawberry Fields, it was sweet but not too sweet. Strickly Greens has a little bit of kick because of the green peppers, I had to get used to that. The juice cleanse helped with my digestion, and I lost a couple pounds. It was just what I needed to help jump start my better eating habits. I plan to do another 3 day juice cleanse for the beginning of fall.

The owner is awesome. She is super friendly and doesn't mind answering questions to help you select the perfect drink or bowl for you. CJ's also has boardgames available, so it's a great spot to relax with friends. Or chill by yourself, listen to music...

I'm literally obsessed with CJ's Juicery! You’ll catch me here so often, I might as well start paying rent. If you're looking for a refreshing treat, the fresh fruit cream soda is like sunshine in a cup—pure bliss! My favorite is the lime but the strawberry is so good I’m not sure if I can choose.

And let’s talk about the smoothie bowls—outstanding doesn’t even begin to cover it. They're like a party for your taste buds! But the real star of the show? The bagel sandwich. BE CAREFUL! Once you indulge, you’ll find yourself daydreaming about its amazing flavors and textures—seriously, it’s that addicting. Pesto or buffalo?! ASK FOR BOTH. Lawd!!!!

The decor inside is beautiful too. It’s mixed with cozy vibes—perfect for snapping those Instagram pics while you enjoy your delicious food. Bring a friend or your kids and likely create a lifelong memory of the time you stopped at that cool local juicery!!

CJ’s is honestly one of the best little spots in town! The vibes, drinks, food, snacks, owner are all 10/10! The owner and her mom are some of the kindest people I have ever met. I’ve been going for years now and I always get the same thing, the PB&J bowl, it never gets old. The matchas are always super delicious and you can’t get anything like them around the alton or Godfrey area. The inside and outside decorations have such a fun and groovy vibe! The juice shots are also yummy. I recently had the peanut butter bites which I had to get more of. The toast is also such a good breakfast.
