We arrived at the drive thru at 9:45 pm after a late night at work and left at 10:20. The longest drive-thru experience I have ever had. We waited and ordered, no one at first window and had to go to the second window. Greeted by a friendly young girl with a smile but seemed sad, we heard and saw the “manager” standing in the background yelling at the employees. There was also a young boy filling ice cream looking scared. The girl had to take my card to the other window to run payment, plus gave us our food and drinks as the boy helped her. This ENTIRE time the manager stood there yelling and pointing fingers. I have never witnessed anything like this and I felt so terrible for those kids. By the end of our wait the girl was in tears but trying to hide it with her smile. This manager does not deserve to be in management or this job. She should have been helping those kids out and maybe the line would have moved faster and our food would have been correct. A good manager needs to be teaching these kids respectful behavior and to pitch in when help is needed instead of thinking she doesn’t need to help because of her title. I’m not even mad that we didn’t get half our food because I’m passed the point of hungry and I’m disturbed by what I saw. I will NEVER let my children work at Wendy’s, and I hope those kids quit that job and don’t ever go back. This review would not have even been written if I didn’t see that manager act the way she did. Kids need to learn and sometimes things take time but NO one deserves that...

They call the Police on me and my children. I need my money back on my card Wendy's where you get it from. That what Wendy's in Altoona Iowa doing calling the Police on customer because I was make sure that I get what I order and when they refused to sever I ask for my money back on my card. And the refuse to do so telling me it can be done. I have the right to get what I order and tonight Wendy's was tell me and children that we do not have the right to what we order. We should take what they pack us.
I need my money back on my card where you get it from.....
And can I tell you after waiting behind two car, get to the order station they say to wait again wait there for quite sometime the pay and go to the pick window and was told...
Read moreOne of the worst fast food restaurants I have ever been to. Our bill was $28, ate maybe $5 of it. Fries were ice cold and brown in color, guessing vats haven't been cleaned in awhile. My bottom bun of my sandwich was broke in half so almost impossible to eat. Forgot to give us straws, even though we had 3 drinks. Went inside to grab some and the kid behind the counter just laughed. Maybe customer service skills might be something worth teaching as they go through their training. This is our first experience ordering food, the 1st time they wouldn't let us order through the drive thru because we didn't have the app and they were short staffed. Called in the morning to discuss this with the manager who apologized and wanted to give us free food they could apply to our app. That was the problem , we don't have the app. Not from the area and we don't have a Wendy's. Why would we have the app? Kicking myself for trying their establishment again as I'm still not feeling well hours after eating there. Save your time and money and find another fast food...
