I can only rate their curbside. Not their food, dine in or drive thru. We ordered curbside to be ready at noon because we were in a hurry and on a tight schedule. We received an email confirmation that our order would be ready at this time. So at 12:10 when it hadn't come out yet I went indoors to get it in case they hadn't seen us. When I told the young lady I was picking up an order she clumsily pointed behind her as though it was being worked on and walked away. When I noticed several vehicles had left the drive thru that arrived after we had, I asked if our order was ready. She said it was being made. By this time it was 12:20. She explained that they do not begin making the order until you arrive because people often call in orders and don't show up. I was frustrated and said please cancel my order and started to leave. Then came back and asked if the money would automatically go back on my CC. The answer, no. They had to give me a cash refund. Which is fine but the total was $18 & change but I only received $15 & change and let us not forget they were going to let me walk out without a refund... But if you already have the money of people who call in orders and don't show up, then why don't you just make the food? You have the money?! Stupid policy, inconvenient...
Read moreI can't WAIT to go back here for some more delicious food. The service is fast, the prices are good, and the food tastes freshly made. I ordered the #1 Grilled Burrito combo with chicken. The grilled burrito had the right mix of chicken, cheese, sauce, and rice. One ingredient didn't overpower the others. It also had sufficient sauce to not be too dry.
The fountain drink was good. They have the Coke Drink Machine, so the options are basically endless. The potato gems had plenty of seasoning, and they were probably my favorite part of the whole meal. They remind me a lot of Taco Johns "Potato Olés", and that's definitely a good thing.
To top it all off, the service was friendly. My only suggestion for improvement would be to branch out into some other states....
Read moreMy rating is based primarily on personal preference and expectations for southwestern style fast food. Taco Mayo seems to be a fine establishment.
I tried the Chicken Nachos, Combination Nachos, Chicken Quesodilla Melt, and the Beef Quesodilla Melt.
-=Price=- Prices seem low, because each plate is around 5 bucks, but the quality of the food changed my mind. Prices are average.
-=Quality=- About the same as Taco Bell next door but the meat tasted a little better.
-=Taste=- Fair. Their Nachos used unsalted thin chips and nacho cheese which was a bit bland for my taste.
Overall I would recommend this place for someone who wants a quick snack for little cost. I would not recommend for anyone looking for spicy southwestern...
