Subway — Restaurant in Alvin

My husband was ordering a melt and asked for swiss and provolone. The lady proceeds to tell us that it will be an extra charge to do half swiss and half provolone. Now mind you that we are not asking for extra cheese. The melt comes with 12 slices of cheese!!! We were asking to have half the cheese swiss and thr other provolone. Then we get chips and a drink. We go to the drink station and none and I mean none of the drinks are available. Okay so sweet tea it is. Well the tea was old and had soured. We tell the lady and she takes the tea container. The time stamp said good till 11:49 am. It is 7:30 pm. So I go up to the counter and ask the lady how much longer till the tea is ready. She proceeds to tell me "oh I can make more but it will take a while." I then ask her what is my husband suppose to drink with his meal. She says there are bottled drinks in the cooler. I said okay and she says "you have to pay for it." Well by this time I'm more then a little put out. So I say we already paid for drinks and you have nothing over at the drink station. Absolutely...

Poor Management ! There was one young lady working the store alone ! When I, walked in 5 people where standing in line and waiting for their orders to be taken . Two ladies in line ahead of me walked out ! The young lady working was doing her best to keep up ! No one should ever work at all alone ! It is unsafe and irresponsible of a Manager to allow her to work alone ! Who would call for help if she were unable ?? If no other employees were available to work then a Manager should have been there to help run the store ! Not at all the employees fault ! Just bad Management that resulted in an unsafe work environment and loss...

I've reviewed the subway before but I'll review it again after going back a few years later and I got to tell you this place it's always horrible with services bad they never have any ingredients The staff that they choose to pick will do things like if you pull up 30 minutes before closing run up and throw the open sign off if this was my business and I was the franchise owner I would definitely spend a little bit more time there and get it ironed out I understand it's a subway it generates money but at the same time it could generate more if you were able to service...
