Gaby’s Pastries & Coffee — Restaurant in Alvin

I've been at least once a week since it opened. I really enjoy the coffee, it's not bitter and I really like the flavor. The breakfast sandwiches are made in store as are all the pastries is my understanding. The breakfast sandwiches definitely taste homemade and are delicious and filling. The chocolate chip banana nut bread is delicious as well, I recommend giving it a try if you like banana bread. The service is great and everyone has been very friendly so far.

If I order a large iced coffee with a flavor, a breakfast sandwich and a banana bread for later I spend about $18. For a local place with in store made food and roasted coffee I think the price is fair. It's less than what I pay at a local small chain in a city near here that...

The food and service were excellent. The atmosphere was great with lovely worship music playing at a good level, until it wasn’t. While I was enjoying my breakfast and coffee, a lady and her friend came in, ordered their coffees and proceeded to sit down on the couch by the window where there was “good lighting for the zoom calls.” They sat down, began sipping their coffee and appeared to be waiting for their zoom calls to begin; before it did THEY decided the music was too loud (they sat next to the speaker) and without asking for permission turned down the volume so much you could no longer even hear if ANY music was playing. Friendly environment, great staff and overall good quality. Since it was the shops first day I was unsure what to expect. I was unsure what to purchase and asked the cashier who was more than happy to give me suggestions based on things I liked . I purchased a caramel lavender macchiato. I have to say it was one of the best ones I have had. I appreciated the time the cashier took the explain the options and even her recommended drink. As for food wise I didn’t purchase anything this time around but another work was more than happy to explain what she would recommend which was the avocado toast.
