I have been a loyal customer since 2022, visiting your store every weekday to purchase the same order. My experiences with Zulema, who was an exceptional employee (and sadly no longer with you), and Dulce, another remarkable team member, have set high expectations. Their coordination and efficiency during peak hours always impressed me, creating a positive shopping experience. Those memories highlight the potential of your store. That positive experience is long gone every thing is different now. As of August 18, 2025, I must express my disappointment with the current team. I understand that finding dedicated employees is challenging, and retention can be even harder, but remember that it's the customers who contribute significantly to your profits. Management should prioritize hiring and training staff who truly value customer service.
On 08/18/2025 at 2:41 PM, I stopped by for my usual order, but encountered many issues. The team rarely has chicken ready, and the manager seems overwhelmed and unable to provide quality service. If she isn’t able to train her employees effectively, the results will undoubtedly be poor. I've experienced wait times of up to 45 minutes for a simple order, and often when it's finally served, it's either incomplete or incorrect.
Retraining the manager is crucial for empowering her to adequately guide the team. It was disheartening to find that with no one else in line, I was asked to move from the drive-thru just to mark me as served in the system, which misleadingly suggests that I had been attended to. This creates an appearance of efficiency while the customer awaits their order.
From 10 AM to 4 PM, the service is incredibly slow and confused employees. The flavors of the chicken have changed, indicating a potential issue with the recipe preparation. Customers on a tight lunch schedule, especially those with only 30 minutes, cannot afford to wait at this location, especially when service is so sluggish.
I urge you to hire individuals who take pride in their work and excel in customer service. As someone in management, I know that finding the right team is achievable. Show your commitment to your customers and the success of your business by prioritizing strong hiring practices and comprehensive training. The current team at store No. 2008 in Alvin, TX, deserves improvement for the sake of customer satisfaction and the reputation...
Read moreIf I could give no stars, I would. This was around 6pm on 9/25/2025. I didn't get her name, but she was a young heavy set Hispanic girl that wore glasses. I'm describing her so maybe management can have a word with her. I doubt that will happen, but one can only hope. I went there to buy a Popeyes gift card. A young lady was behind the counter, didn't say can I help you or anything. I said I need a gift card please. She just stared at me. I repeated it and again she just stared at me. I politely asked her if she spoke English. She said yes. I once again repeated what I needed. She took the gift card holder and took one out. She said I'm not sure how to do this. She tried, she failed. She says my manager will have to do it and she's not here. I said, not one person behind this counter is trained on gift cards? She replied, they sell them in stores, just go there and buy one. I couldn't believe she actually said that. I'm here at a popeyes, why would I need to go to a store? I asked, what store number is this. She looked on the wall, looked at me with an evil grin and said, I don't know. I said, well, don't worry about it, but be sure to check the reviews later. I left there angry and sad that she represents the future. Just from this experience, I promise I will never be eating at this location. Think twice before you decide...

The Server said it would be about 7 m8n for the Mild Chicken to Cook...We told her that was Fine. She asked us to drive !around to the front & they would bring it out to us. We Waited, & Waited & 20 min later My Roomate went inside with our receipt to find out what was going on... He attempted to get two different servers attention... Finally a Nice Lady Took Our Receipt & started to wait on someone else...He said at that point she must have realized how long we had been waiting & went ahead & filled our order. When he came out with our food it had been 35 min since we ordered at the drive thru.
No apology for the long wait was included...if they had been real busy it wouldn't have bothered us so much...When we ordered 35 min before, we were the Only Ones in Line... During Our Wait we Watched 5 Cars Come Through the Drive Thru & Leave & 4 Walk in Customers Come & Go... They Just Plain Forgot Our Order & Us! NO APOLOGY!!! 7...
